All Aussies broad casters , cricketers , ex-cricketers are all in denial. Aussies did not push for a win. They started with regular opening batsman who were not among run against Bumrah. At 13 overs the run rate was 2. Opening batsmen were out not when playing expansive strokes, but when defending. The only change that was made was sending Mitch marsh who himself was not among runs in this series. He got out, caught at wicket , while defending. Travis had played his natural game not withstanding match situation-and he had perished too. Only Cummins and Carey tried to play aggressively- but come on by the time they were 6/60… and dark clouds and impending rain were forecast. They liked to be seen as pushing for a win but in actuality they were not.

Australia made a huge mistake by giving target below 300 in 60 overs. They were lucky that it rained. I know that our two senior players Rohit and Kohli are out of form. But new generation of Indian batsmen would have gone after that target. Especially when they also didn't had Hazlewood in the team.

99% Hahaha... India avoided the follow on..In that rain had no play... They batted against fresh bowlers(Made fresh by Rain breaks and therefore long spells)..They got lucky by Hazelwood's Injury.. Also Aus top order Failed.. Khwaja not attacking got bowled.. McSweeny and Labushchagne seemed in two minds.. Marsh and Smith got out to non attacking shots... So if that was the case and we had full day play...Lo and behold Gabba 2021' s memories would have come back😂😂

@samuelmather2469 I just mentioned..That If the whole day's play was available and the way Aus fell..India would have pushed for victory..not as easy to say that aus had 99% chance...especially when they were A bowler down..Aus couldn't afford to give 300 in 75-80 overs to India...possibly the would have played more conservatively then ...mind you first 5 wickets were not on aggressive shots..

Forget about 60 overs, even if India got chance to Play 30-35 overs, this new generation of Indian batsmen would have easily scored those runs.

Drop Rohit, failure in 2019 series, failure in 2021 series, failure till now in 2024 series. Team should be Rahul, Jaiswal, Gill, Kohli, Pant, Jadeja, Sundar, Bumrah, Deep, Harshit Rana, Prasidh Krishna. Need to take 20 wickets. Reddy is good but his 40 runs aint cutting it. Need another fast bowler to take 20 wickets and contain Head and Smith. Until the Head problem is fixed, it's going to be hard. Head is scoring a run a ball.

You can't drop Siraj. He has a heart of a lion. Infact he's the one who throws most of the overs. Because of him, Bumrah and other bowlers get a chance to relax. Bumrah is great but he doesn't have stamina like Siraj to throw long spell. That is also a reason that Siraj doesn't able to generate enough power and discipline in his bowling since other bowlers can't throw long spell. The fact that he has a long run-up unlike Bumrah & still he manages to throw long spell is praiseworthy. He's just bit unlucky right now. Many of his good deliveries did not get wicket. Same with Akashdeep. He got the first wicket on really bad delivery while he didn't get any wicket on incredible deliveries that he threw in Australia's 1st inning. 😂
