The difference between the Michigan game and the CFP wasn't the players - it was the coaches - Day, Knowles and Kelly. Those three stepped up and came up with a game plan that utilized the Ohio State talent the way it needs to be used. Having figured it out, I like their chances of winning the Natty. Keep blitzing and stunting on defense - keep a balanced attack on offense and defenses won't be able to stop all of it.
@raptor7869Күн бұрын
I think Day finally letting Kelly call the game unlike against Michigan. During the Michigan game, Day was constantly looking at his play sheet a lot and plays were being sent in from the sideline by those 3 person play boards. Kelly sends in plays now with a direct link to Howard via the helmet comm. No need for play boards when he's calling plays. Day doesn't call play like he used when he was only the offensive coordinator. He's coaching scared against Michigan since he knows his job is on the line.

Oregon gave up 30+ points to Ohio State, Boise St and Penn St. Thats a lot of pressure on the offense to never miss a beat. Georgia took 8 OTs to beat Tech. Tech! Texas was dominant all season except for when Ewers was getting sacked 4,5,6 times per game. ASU had 1 sack against BYU and zero against KSU and ISU. @Joshwalkemdown-t IT IS A FACT that Howard is THE #3 rated QB in the country. Prove otherwise. I deal in FACTS, Data and Truths. You have nothing but conjecture

I still do not trust our O-Line.. Even in that Tennessee game they couldnt just run up the middle to get like 2 yards when they need to and that might be an issue against Oregon. We will see if they can keep using the edge with our playmakers and keep the chains moving to a championship.

They have the money, so yeah, that’s where dominance in this world comes from. It isn’t about play design and calling or better coaching. It’s about money. Sad.

Keep doubting the ducks. And we‘ll just keep beating the bucks. Doesn’t matter if it’s home, in the shoe, or on a neutral field. The number one team has never been so disrespected this year its unbelievable

Wake up people!!! Had Tennessee's inept performance in the fist quarter not given Ohio 14 easy points, the score would have been 21-17, those to bad decisions by the QB were what changed the momentum of the game, it's not that Ohio did anything spectacular for thise pics, Tennessee QB flat out threw it to the defender, and Tennessee pretty much gave up after that, had that not happened, it would have been a different game and people would be talking about how Ohio struggled against a mediocre Tennessee team. We all know how momentum plays a large part in these games, and my hats off to Ohio for taking advantage of it, but let's be real, they aren't God's of football, are they a very good football team? Absolutely! But remember, they got the same hype and accolades before they met Oregon earlier this season, they had a full roster and Oregon was missing key players, and they lost!!! Everyone can say what they want about Ohio being "The team to beat", just remember this, there is a team who is still #1 out there, they are #1 because they beat the teams they needed to beat, they may not be as flashy, or have the nation drooling over them, but they have proven they can play with anyone!!!

Tenn. was a good game, Mich. was a bad game. Which will we get?
@rickeychavarria27712 күн бұрын
Michigan was only a bad game because of us changing our game plan like idiots . If we threw the ball more and played fast like we just did we woulda beat Michigan the same way . We won’t go back to that style because Ryan day learned it’s the reason we lost and we showed that Saturday against teneseee . Tennessee line and defense is just as good if not better then Michigan

All say what you want… Beating Tennessee was great but that second matchup against Oregon yeah right. Dillion Gabriel has OSU’s 2nd loss ticket.. Many will say the Rose Bowl is OSU’s home but not against the Ducks.. Ducks will crush the Overrated State University.
@roxburndiКүн бұрын
Gabriel is phenomenal, no doubt. The Ducks defense gave up 30+ points every time they played anyone good. Boise St was the only team that the Ducks played that can score and sack, a lot. Took a last second field goal to beat them. Buckeyes had zero sacks in game 1. They have to put more pressure on him if they want to have a chance at winning this time.

They beat the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC. Real football fans would have rather seen Alabama, Ole, Miss, or even South Carolina in the playoffs. If OSU is happy with a participation trophy, then congratulations! 🎈

Well we in the. big ten have been told before the Tennessee game that the 5th or 6th best SEC team is better than anybody in the Big Ten. Make up your mind
