He was removing the flag to prevent the same BS that happened at the end of the OSU vs Michigan game. Players got maced in the eyes on both teams by police and both teams will have fines and players suspended during playoffs and the first game or so of next year. The Florida player who planted the flag will be suspended for a game or two possible indefinitely just like number 6 on Michigan and in OSU for their bs today. Google Miami vs fIU fight and than the suspensions handed out over bs like this some players careers ended, their entire seasons, people lost their jobs, both schools fined millions. He most likely pulled that out to prevent a fight and receiving suspensions as well a NIL money he can use on transfers and recruits. That's called being a good coach not a bad one and his actions have nothing to do with being in the toughest conference in CFB and FSU losing games. Clemson almost beat South Carolina. Georiga Tech almost beat Georiga. Miami crushed Florida who played Tennesse to OT, Beat ranked LSU and Ole Miss. The ACC is the tougher conference on average due to top ranked SEC teams playing at the level of mid ACC teams. FSU simply plays harder opponents.

im a gator fan but I truly don’t believe it’s the coaches fault. From what I understand FSU put a heavier emphasis on building the team based off of transfers rather than recruits. FSU CAN recruit but i believe the heavier emphasis on transfers hurt them in the long run (this season) and was great in short run (last season). Once all their seniors left, they had little talent to fall back on. I could be completely wrong on that though. Obviously i don’t like FSU but not going to lie it’s a bit sad to see them like this :/
