Nice to see JD5 developing a better option/read throwing IQ. Now with better opponents the WR having to hold/ease back for the catch at 5:53 & 9:20 might not be as successful. It’s a real progression nonetheless and hopefully he will continue to refine his options in terms of the apparent better pocket protection and option read/developement.

Cause there really wasn't much to show for Mississippi State. Two good throws, 1 good kickoff return, 1-2 good runs and that sums up their good plays against LSU's starters. Will Rogers was regularly not in sync with his WRs for much of this game and got sacked a lot. Too many overthrows or underthrows, or plain throws to nowhere.
