That’s not shocking honestly. A 5-3-14 record wouldn’t even be barely enough to survive relegation from the Premier League. Inter Miami is somehow that bad in a league like MLS, where defense is a good 2.5 star caliber in FIFA, while offense ranges from 3-4.5 stars. To be that consistently awful in a league designed to be unpredictable is impressive in the *worst* possible way.

His height allows him to have a fantastic ball control. If Messi were taller he would hardly have that unique quality, it's hard to see a 185+ skilled guy.

@@ZeroFamilon I think the Leagues Cup is coming too soon. Messi and Busquets are not yet fully fit and they won't have time to integrate with the team. Plus Miami´s key injured players won't be back yet. The Open Cup is much more likely, though they will have to beat Cincinnati away in the semis on Aug 23 before they would get a chance to host the final. That will be very tough considering that Cincy is undefeated at home this season (11 wins and 1 draw) and just brought in a highly rated DP forward from Europe to fill their one pressing need (who already scored in his debut). That is the game I'm most looking forward to. A matchup between the two best 10s in MLS now that Messi is here. Lucho Acosta in is prime with a very good supporting cast vs. Messi with a mediocre supporting cast in front of those wild fans in Cincinnati. Plus a lot of interesting side-stories. Can Yedlin handle Barreal (by far the best left wingback in MLS)? Can Josef or Campana find space against the strongest central defense in the league? Can Miami's central defense stop Cincy´s explosive revamped forward line when they are getting fed one great pass after another by Lucho and Barreal? It should be a great game.
