However, in 1970, this is when we saw the magnificent Pele play at his finest. He was absolutely brilliant in that tournament. The only thing that I thought was even better in 1970, was the save that Gordon Banks made against Pele's header. That was one of the best saves of all time. Even Pele came out and said it was the greatest save he had ever saw. GOD!!!! I loved this man. There have been some greats over the years. That Brazilian team was one of the best of all time. I have to also include, of course, Maradona, Cruyff and Zidane, just to name a few. This generation it's Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.
