Some of my favorite fighters never had the best records. It's more about how they fight. Both Diaz bros, Cowboy, Leonard Garcia, Diego Sanchez. I've never been the type to just nutride the next undefeated up and comer. All these fighters come to fight, win or lose. I respect that. Live or die by the shield. Screw point fighting. I don't care how good someone's record is. If they're out there to score points I don't wanna see it. That's not a real fighter in my eyes.

@@Brimst0ne_XB great post Greg. The UFC isnt set up for undefeated records. I wish Khabib had lost his first fight. Then he would have maybe fought more. He put a really interesting angle on it actually, it is true that Conor wants a quick finish (I don’t think it’s cos he doesn’t want to be there) but that does cost him, he gets a bit frazzled when he doesn’t finish people. He has so many first and second round wins it worries him when it gets tricky, I don’t think he’s scared or tired or anything I just think he focuses on knockouts so much he losses the thought to buckle down and get comfortable in there, it’s weird.

@jim jones at least get your facts straight man. That record is NOT 500. The guy fought for a title. Has the second most bonuses in history. He is 1-2 not 0-3 in his last 3. Has been fighting top 10 guys for years. He is 36 with many wars under his belt, so I'd say he is also not in his prime. Bj penn was 36 when he was a punching bag.
