CJ was given a team that had a golden set up from the Deshaun Watson heist. Demeco Ryan’s instantly changed the culture. All the multiple 1st RD picks. Plus a very good O-line with above average pass pro. Far better situation than media likes to admit. It’s not like Stroud went to a terrible Jags or Bengals situations and turned them around.

Hypothetically just swap Stroud for Levis. Say Levis had a similar season with the Texans. The media would have insanely rode Demeco Ryans jock and made it all about him and his culture change. Laremy Tunsil would be glorified for the ELITE left tackle he is. Stroud had great pass protection and playmakers. I’m a Stroud fan. Called his success before most of you all. Was saying when he was at Ohio state how much better than Fields he is and all of you sheep laughed. But Stroud is in a good situation. He’s talented. But he has a lot of help . Nah its definitely NOT CJ Stroud #1 - he's on his rookie deal and has already exceeded initial expectations. #2 - the team just brought a slew of talent - including 2 All-Pros & some pro-bowlers. to a roster that already proved everyone wrong and won the division and destroyed Cleveland in a playoff game. #3 - CJ has a football guru for a HC, who was the Team Captain calling defensive audibles as rookie moving players into better positions(Texans also).
