Zion would benefit so much by developing his offense further. His style of play as it is now + a long history of injuries is a recipe for a short career.
@voiceofreason2674

Zions game as a point guard is already special though. Its something OLD school like Earl the Pearl, Fly Williams, Slick Watts. The way he slowly penetrates the paint and is still looking to dish the ball or just take a couple quick steps for his own lay. It's special. I agree he needs to get more comfortable just taking jumpers. But I feel like with how his game as a guard is right now, we just need to build the right team around him. Get some big guys who can cut, get a center with soft hands and quicker feet than JV. Also mandatory that everybody on this team set screens to free each other. Cannot be a sit around and way for a catch and shoot

Zion is a very exstordinary athlete. He can also handle point guard superbly.His speed is unbelievable. His size deters blocks as well as his spins. Players cannot defend against t him. His shot touch can't be believed.He's actually blocking shots anywhere opponents shoot them and he can shoot from anywhere. Very capable, intelligent ballplayer. Zion really plays an unselfish game and if his teamates follow his blueprint they'd get closer to a ring.

I really enjoy how much more open today's ballplayers are with their podcasts and interviewing other active players. At the same time, I feel like it has killed the warrior mentality of Mike and Kobe that made them antisocial a-holes. Like, the purist in me is thinking that unless your game is complete, you should be working on it right now instead of sitting down talking about it. I know it's old thinking, but it was weird for me to hear PG ask another player about their locker room situation and have that player answer, when they were competing in the same conference.

Zion reminds me of a more athletic nimble Rodney Rodger’s with mad bunnies……Rodney Rodger’s was a very skilled big man player who career got cut short from the accident

He would never be in position to guard him in a game man😂. Even if he was on a switch he’d get doubled instantly.

If Zion plays bully basketball, like the way LeBron does. He would be unguardable

His problem is he doesn’t post up when he knows that he can. Same thing with his jumpshot. He’s literally showed that he can then when he gets out in that situation he gets undecided and nervous then passes. He’s too unselfish and plays too timid and times

I thought Zion would have been dominant, kinda like Shaq was. I still think he hasn’t learnt how to use his size and speed. He should definitely do some work with Shaq. Shaq is the best player that he is most similar to.
