I think in this past year Tua was told not to extend the plays so that he doesn't get hit. To not to be the hero. It was something that Tua had to work on, because he would always try to win the game on each play. I think this year he will move around a lot more, and that's why they asked him to lose weight. Maybe he'll have more freedom to extend the plays. He was the top rated dual-threat QB coming out of high school, so he has that temperament.

The way the NFL pays QBs is utterly wrong and stupid. How in the world is lawerence ahead of Burrow and Tua ahead of Lamar and hurts? This is wild. Simple. Mahomes is the benchmark aka 100. Every quarter should be paid significantly less according to how they measure up with winning SB > Reaching SB> Deep playoff run >MVP of season > All pro > wins during the season adjust to account for strenghth of the division and number of years you have managed to repeat such wins. The guarantee portion should only be for 1 with the remain proportion of it defferred based on matching certain criteria. Tua and herbert should be around the 20-25mil max not.
