Let's keep it a buck. Hbcu's don't even fill up their own stadiums. The student sections don't have energy. Half the people stay at the tailgate after they game starts. Add the refs call too many penalties. Hbcu football kinda sucks.

That's because it was on ESPNU. The NDSU vs SDSU Game was in Primetime Cable on ESPN2. If you put this same matchup on ESPN2 before or after that Game they will easily outperform them. They can't have that because it will put off the false narrative of HBCU's not able to draw an audience outdoing the Top FCS Teams who are Ranked 1st & 2nd. If the SWAC & MEAC need any motivation to form a Super HBCU Conference for an FBS Move this should be it.

This is what they wanted. HBCUs sports have become glorified intramural sports. They have repeatedly stated and showed that they are academic institutions focused on that alone. They act like they don't understand that success and visibility in sports leads directly to larger enrollment and more money for the universities.
