These guys can laugh and mock all they want but Chelsea are headed in the right direction. People quickly forget they only won 44 points last season and they’ve already won 54 points with 3 matches to go. That is progress no matter how much these pundits mock. Likewise, Chelsea actually have 58.7% possession this season. And are 4th in the Premier League table in xG. And they are the youngest side in the entire league. People might mock these stats because points won ultimately determine where sides finish in the table. But if you’ve actually watched Chelsea this season, it’s clear to see that they have a ton of talent, potential, and have actually dominated a lot of matches they’ve either drawn or lost but didn’t win because their finishing has been atrocious. Long term, if I were a Chelsea fan, I’d actually be very optimistic about where this group of young players is headed. Because people might mock them right now but I actually genuinely believe they will finish next season somewhere between 65-75 points as they continue to mature, grow, and improve.

And Chelsea won again today. If you’ve actually watched Chelsea each game this season, they are definitely turning a big corner. And they literally have the youngest side in the entire league.

Honestly, these guys have no idea.. The owners want to make Chelsea a truly global team like Barcelona or Madrid where every corner of the globe knows about Chelsea fc. Part of that goal is getting the best young talent, which has its pros and cons as we know. It's a business transformation project which will take time ⏲️ What Todd is saying is that in the last couple of games we have seen what the end product may look like and that should be exciting to all Chelsea fans. Espn hate Chelsea. Craig burley must have been treated horrendously by chelsea when he played for them. U can tell he hates them the most. Never had any doubt in the new owners..they did good, cleaned out the old team which was due for a rebuild anyways. This guy didnt get to where he is making wrong decisions.
