When printing the design, does it have to be psd file or in ai file? Are you just using photoshop for presentation purposes while adobe illustrator for the output printing?

It depends. Some companies offer creation for print files for free. Other recommend that you create your own within adobe illustrator. This is a video I will have to get to very soon

If any, is there a difference between the looks of clothing logos/fashion logos and say a regular business logo?

Yes and no. Because fashion and clothing logos are made for businesses that are in the fashion and clothing industry lol. It all depends on the specifics of the client, their industry, and other things as well. For example these logos that you will mainly see on my channel will look a lot different than, say a logo for a lawyer or marketing firm. Mainly because when each logo is being created it needs to be created for the specific client and their industry in mind.

I'm new to photoshop, and I want to design the jersey of my team. What kind of blending mode do you use to color the jersey so you can keep the highlights and shadows? I decide to do it from scratch, downloaded a picture and started creating shapes for the patterns, but I just see flat colors. I lose every detail.

Hi, I stumbled upon your comment, use multiply for a quick effect, but I recommend you to use a base color and two duplicates of the shirt or element with brightness and contrast modified for the shadows and lights, for shadows use multiply for lights use screen. Your layers should be something like this. Light Overlay (element mostly dark with the light showing in screen blending mode) Shadow Overlay (element mostly white with the shadows showing in multiply blending mode) Base color or design Hope I explained myself ;)

Awesome! Not really, its all the same. The only difference is that its used for a cycling team. If the actual design is what you are meaning, its always best to focus the jersey design on the teams logo to stay consistent.

Yes the .PSD File is what you want, not the .JPEG because that is only 1 single layer which you can't edit the different layers. Cheers Kev Borg

when you have the pen tool selected look at the top left corner of the screen. You will see a drop down box next to the pen tool symbol. Make sure its on 'shape'. Next to shape you will see 'Fill' click that box and pick your color :)

it depends what you are using them for. For a tutorial video, I'm sure it would be fine. Mainly because you can download the logos from sponsors websites, like scuf gaming have them to download on their website. But for commercial use definitely not. For example if you were making a jersey design for a client, and your client asked to have those sponsor logos on the jerseys. Your client would first have to get permission from the sponsors to do so, otherwise no.
