Don't know why but I feel like we are going to win this one. Big chip on the shoulder after the Geelong game and I think Scott is going to have them raging to get the win. This is the type of game that will change our season if we can win it. Kicked like shit against GC and Carlton, Geelong was a mess but this is the one that makes us or breaks us.

See this is where McRae gets it wrong. Darcy Moore is NOT a full back. He needs to stay at CHB. Frampton at full back. Mihocek into a back pocket to replace Murphy. Kreuger, McStay & McInnes are more than capable of creating enough goals up forward.

There was some talk on SEN by Timmy Watson earlier this week about Shiel coming back in. On his VFL form and with his experience I think it would be a good move. Brad Scott didn't discount it at his presser either.

Essendon and Collingwood are fairly even. We both lost to the Suns and every team that we have beaten, they havent really played decisively against.

The lads will be pumped up with a point to prove after last week and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Bombers jump the Pies early, however, the big issue will be to maintain the pressure when the fightback comes which historically the Bombers have not been good at. Go Dons!

For me people can't have it both ways in regard to who we have beaten. I thought crows gws, and Bulldogs even wce first time where going pretty well at the time. If we beat Collingwood they could go 9th, and then we still haven’t beaten a team in the 8. In four weeks hawthorn Bulldogs and GWS could be in there. I would only assess opponents at the time, and in hindsight end of season. However I do agree if we don’t fix our forward half we are in for a mugging.

I agree that the need to beat a team 'inside the 8' is a bit unnecessary when the order shifts around so much, but as of right now we haven't claimed a big scalp which is a bit concerning considering we are well poised to be playing in September.

i think we need to shake up our forwards, we are getting plenty of entries but no shots on goal. We need players that will lead and create space and then crumbing players. I would think about resting Harry Jones and getting Caddy and maybe Perkins into the VFL and putting Jye Menzie in the forward line as he looked totally out of place in the backline last week.

We do train outside at the Hangar, we actually have 2 ovals, one of which fits the dimensions of the MCG, the other Marvel, I think we are just a team who prefers playing under the roof at Marvel.

I'm a Collingwood supporter of 48 years. Essendon will win this by 24 pts. We are missing too many important players sadly. You cannot expect to win most matches with Mitchell, Cox, Elliott, McStay, McCreery, J Daicos and Noble out. We need to start planning for 2025.

The one huge mistake Craig has made this season is Moore playing full back. He needs to be at CHB cutting off supply further up the ground. Allow Frampton or somebody else to take on the deep goalsquare stuff. I'd be getting McInnes back in and maybe use Ned along as a marking forward target to tonight and catch Brad Scott ofguard????
