I remember listening to this song about a month ago when I was rushed to the hospital. At that moment, when I was in the car with my mom, I had a mixture of emotions of fear, ecstasy and even inspiration because I knew right then and there that I could overcome this bump in the road, Type 1 Diabetes. Luckily, about a month later, by the power of God himself and the inspiration of Klaytons music, I am proud to say I'm insulin free! Just wanted to say thank you Klayton and that you have my respect, sir. You've truly been a huge inspiration for me and my family for years now. Keep up the good work.
@Khenfu_Cake4 жыл бұрын
Isn't being insulin free technically what causes type 1 diabetes??
@rd7bz4 жыл бұрын
@@Khenfu_Cake Not necessarily. With Type 1, the pancreas produces an insufficient amount of insulin to keep the sugar levels stabilized. T1 is found more in heredity and in this case, the pancreas essentially said 'ok I'm done' and shuts off. Therefore, it no longer creates enough insulin to counteract the sugars in the body. That's why we have synthetic insulin today such as Humalog (day time, fast acting insulin), Lantus (night time, slow acting) and many other types to help control it, insulin dependency. Fortunately, I no longer have that issue, I'm no longer insulin dependent. That's what I mean when I say I'm free, I'm no longer taking it, knock on wood! 😌 I hope that answers your question. 👍👍
@Khenfu_Cake4 жыл бұрын
@@rd7bz Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me😊
@ParanormalNewsToday4 жыл бұрын
Please, please, please don't take your T1 lightly; test regularly and make sure you still have your pens/pump with you. I speak as a medic and widower whose T1 wife did not take her condition seriously and I had to watch as she slowly died by inches as her kidneys shut down. I can't count the number of times her blood sugar was over 700 and I had to revive her with a glucogon injection. She relied too much on religious faith and as a result my two children have had to grow up without their mother. I respect your beliefs, but please think of your loved ones and also keep medicine/science in the picture.
@spicydraks4 жыл бұрын
@@ParanormalNewsToday You're absolutely right. My dad is "insulin free" due to his more or less strict diet but he does check his blood sugar regularly and goes to the doctor for checkups. He is also very religious but at least with the right proding he is making sure to check his health. After all maybe God put those doctors and those devices that help you check yourself there for a reason

Honestly this is incredibly relevant to our modern world as it stands today. Digitizing our souls could be seen as us using social media to organize against the megacorps. We are the first truly digital generation. Amazon, Exxon Mobile, Walmart, Bank of America, CVS, Alphabet and the rest will have their day.
@Spooglecraft4 жыл бұрын
> using social media to organise against the megacorps big tech is the megacorps, you even said it yourself. and believe me, they are doing their best to stop any uprising or rather to make sure it rises against who they want it to.
@AngelCPUDD4 жыл бұрын
I don’t really understand why some people hate those megacorps that much. It is irrational. None of them hold enough monopolistic power to really cause serious issues and if that would be the case new competitors would emerge, as history shows. Also because of their size they are inefficient and leave many niches to smaller corporations.
