Hello Everyone 😘 Today I want to share with you very delicious and healthy recipe made with cabbage! Very simple, flavorful, cheesy dish made in a minutes. Make this quick and easy dish for your loved ones. My kids favorite breakfast! Yield: 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 Eggs
Season with black pepper
add 1 tbsp All-purpose Flour and mix well ( I used Jovial Organic Einkorn Flour)
1/2 Head of small cabbage
1 Carrot
Green Onion
4 thin slices of ham (optional)
Dill or cilantro (optional)
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 tbsp butter
4 eggs
Season with Salt and Black pepper
Gruyère cheese

This is the kind of dish made from necessity, way back when the people of this region had a scarcity of ingredients and had to be inventive with “the same old stuff”. Some delicious dishes come out of that kind of situation. I’m thinking potato dishes in Ireland, for example.

I was thinking the same thing. But I've been to many national and regional restaurants, and what I see on the menus really doesn't look or sound like what people were eating a 100 or 150 years ago. But maybe I'm just a "traditionalist? Gonna look for a native american cookbook now. Especially interested in what flavorings, herbs, and spices they used.

I fell in love with this recipe when I discovered it over a year ago and I now make it for lunch every Saturday. It is so satisfying whether I make it with chopped ham or turkey, or even bananas and then topped with a dollop of yogurt and raspberry preserves. And so quick and easy!

Hi Sophie , O so Delicious 😋, Thank You For Sharing, ❤, what part of the world do these recipes belong, I have just made Venison stew, today, Poopy, not bud, cup of tea, but I was given some venison back a beginning of the year, I thought I would try a recipe that I’d seen on the Internet, and it involves putting 2 teaspoon force of Dijon mustard into the stew just before it’s finished cooking, it taste, amazing, Because I live by myself, I normally make enough for at least 8 to 10 portions. This one has gone well passed that, I think I’ve divided it all up I might have between 20 and 25 portions which obviously can be frozen down, look forward to seeing another recipe recipe from you in not too distant future, I hope you and your family are keeping safe and well,
