2 eggs

Spices:
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp Thyme
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Sweet Paprika
Black pepper

Mrs. Sophie , great recipe & looks delicious , i think i am going to use Swiss guyere cheese ( my fave cheese) instead of mozzarella cheese , i am going to also add fresh chives from our garden with buttered toasted German rye bread & a cold glass of tomato or :V - 8 juice to drink. Your recipe is good for any meal any time of the day, God Bless you & your family.. btw , if it is an evening meal i think i will ask my wife to bake a German chocalete cake & have a hot cup of coffee

The cook in the video made the original recipe as vegetarian, she herself may or may not be vegetarian. That original recipe will appeal to vegetarians among the viewers but adding bacon will not appeal to vegetarians. It’s also not for practicing Muslims or Jews. So I was just highlighting that this specific addition is not like adding lemon or herbs, as it changes the character of the recipe. I feel I have to explain everything in detail for the sake of your education

I make something similar using yellow squash! It makes a fantastic breakfast!

Interesting! I love all the squashes. Do you use butternut squash? Do you pre-cook it? Maybe you just grate it raw and add it to the eggs?

@@YogaladyToronto I shred the squash, the same way you would shred potatoes for hash browns. Yellow squash works great with garlic. Zucchini works well but is very bland and needs more spices to make it good. (I use gunpowder seasoning.) I haven't tried butternut squash. I think that would make better "pancakes" if you pre-cook it and mash it with an egg or two.

Yes, this is the base. Add cilantro, tomato and avocado on top...you have another flavor. Top with bacon, cheddar and tomato... another flavor. You get the idea. The possibilities are endless. Sticking to a low-carb /high fiber lifestyle is not only beneficial but extremely tasty 😋
