@@TheMissendenFlyer On my US Spec 2018 Tour 6MT we only got one USB in the glove box. The Airbag bikes got the USB put in the trunk. Honda offered a Aux #2 USB cable accessory that installed in the left saddle bag or the trunk. Aux #2 port can be used to charge devices and you can use it to play music stored on a USB thumb drive. But you can't use USB #2 for Carplay or Android Auto. And it can't be used to update the bikes near useless navi software and features. It is mate and still has around 160 BHP . I ride on my own so having the big wing is a bit of a waste . The VFR will do what I want with the full luggage and hopefully next year get back overseas to see some war stuff 👍😁

What you must have is tie down loops. I put Gold Strike brand on my 2019 Goldwing. If you ever have to transport your bike you can't tie down the bike with the handle bars you can damage it. Also ba must cup holder for coffee or maybe english tea?
@TheMissendenFlyer3 жыл бұрын
Sorry Tony - I draw the line at a cup holder, to my mind that’s the slippery slope on the way to towing a trailer....just wrong! (Though I understand it’s a “thing” in the US).....
@tonytesoriero12423 жыл бұрын
@@TheMissendenFlyer the coffee cup holder is more of a joke the tie downs are a must if you get a flat tire and have to have the bike transported you can't strap it down by the handle bars or forks having the tie down loops makes it easy to transport.

I just don’t know how you were coping before you got that carpet🙄great video as always looking forward to the next

My life is more complete - it was jangling by bells knowing that carpet existed but wasn't in my Honda!

😂🤣😂🤣 very entertaining, smiled the whole way through. As soon as i saw that safety sally box opener... I thought this is going to be a fun one and then you caught your drawstring with it 🤣😂

The grab handles I understand (bad design originally) but carpets, on a bike? What's the next piece of useless tat you can bolt on, pipe rack or a music stand maybe?
@TheMissendenFlyer3 жыл бұрын
Curtains next on the list!

Nice video, can’t beat a bit of subtle innuendo lol, the tidy was a nice idea, good to see you carry all the essentials in the trunk/ top box, the grab handles nice upgrade but that’s a lot of money for carpets. You could of got some rubber matting for £20 and made them yourself.

Tyre warmers next on the list for the Wing, for those cold winter nights in Missenden manor. Andy, stop! I was only kidding! The things we do for our beloved machines.
@TheMissendenFlyer3 жыл бұрын
....I'm just wondering how you would get a tyre warmer on that rear wheel - a right bummer when I come to do my next Goldwing owners club track day!

This would make a good comedy show watching you doing your mechanics, 🤣 in a nice way.

Probably one of the funniest vlogs I've seen on KZbin this year 🤣 mind you grab handles I get, safety feature and all that, but those stupid bits of carpet and the topbox tidy thing...really? especially at that price🤯

600 quid! I thought I spent too much on bike bits!

Money well spent old chap, have ordered mine for 2024, a tad strapped for cash at the mo, but a worth while addition i believe?
@TheMissendenFlyer3 жыл бұрын
Well the grab handles certainly are - the carpet is clearly a P-take....
@andrewgibbs51353 жыл бұрын
Brilliant ! The handles look to be worth the money. Carpets, not so much 😉 Hello to Mrs. Flyer 👋🏻

I often hear how expensive BMW (GS owner here) parts are but Honda and Yamaha are just as expensive in my experience! Looking forward to Goldwing trip vids in the near future! :)

I can imagine the interlude music being played outside a cafe in southern France, sipping a coffee with the bike gleaming in the riviera sunshine... maybe one day!

Wouldn't that be nice....I'm confident those times will come again (might be another year or two though)....

Great video Andy I’ve never found motor bike accessories to be cheap Triumph parts are just as expensive think that’s how they make extra profit from a bike.
@TheMissendenFlyer3 жыл бұрын
Well indeed - how much is pannier carpet for a Triumph?
