Also in my country.. 'tighten the belt' is often used and nowdays is very common😢😅 The idioms 'in someone else's shoes' is similar compared to my country but the word 'shoes' is replaced with 'clothes'😊

Idioms are often the same in a lot of languages but change little things like objects or animals for example 😁
