I would like to have an online radio but play some music on it (70s or 80s) maybe does not use all the music but part of them. Is it possible with small budget if I already have professional mics? 🙄
@Radiodotco4 жыл бұрын
That's more than possible! However, if you're planning on playing copyright music, you need to get a broadcasting license to legally play it live. Find out more here; radio.co/blog/radio-broadcasting-licence

Great video. However, when I subscribed I got one very poor script, not even a template really. Your video is more useful than than the script.
@Radiodotco3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, it's just a rough guide for beginners. But as long as you took something away from this video, that's aces in my book. As for the script, we'll look into updating it further down the line.

Can you help with writing preliminary scripts for a talk morning show?
@Radiodotco3 жыл бұрын
We don't offer that service unfortunately. But you can download a basic script template at: radio.co/blog/radio-script
@SeanVedell3 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about a script for every break or are these for liners and promos? I guess having a script when you are brand new would help but they could become crutches very quickly. Better to map out your breaks and, at first, just do basics. Calls, temp, tunes as we used to call it. I agree about K.I.S.S. though. No one is going to miss what you don’t say but they’ll remember what you screw up. They’ll remember for years! Basically you want a bit to be relatable, funny if possible but not necessarily and you want to know what the start and end of your story/promo/contest is. The middle will take care of itself, mostly, if you know how you’re going to finish it. btw, I’m coming from 15 years on air in Canadian Top 40 and Country Top 40 during the 90’s. I paid my dues.

Mainly breaks. But good advice though Sean.

I hope your dialogue scripts don't jump as much as your video cuts. In out in out in out in out. It's an info video, dude, not an Alfred Hitchcock suspense movie. I turned you off at 2:14.
