No - thank YOU for watching. I'm not actually a Dr. btw. But, for what it's worth, I do still practice Giuliani studies every day.

Yes, I noticed the slight discrepancies as well. Perhaps Tennant is just mixing it up a bit...he is a very accomplished guitarist. Nevertheless, either way is good practice and if you practice these studies with a great deal of conviction....your mastering of your classical guitar repertoire will be much easier, in particular your use of the "a" finger. I remember Pepe Romero telling me in a master's class...."Don't forget your Giuliani studies". He was so right....... Thanks for the well put together tutorial James!

Thank you for the kind words. You're points (and Pepe Romero's) are quite true. As for the discrepancies or errors, it would be hard to blame Scott Tennant. I've seen too much music published with errors. I'm sure you have too.

So beautiful played. I have a question about muting the strings. Someone has a video about it? For example, do we need to mute string while playing or just let it ring.....

Thanks for your question. As for arpeggio studies it is understood to let the notes ring over each other even if written as a series of 1/8 notes. Muting notes can be accomplished with either hand. I discuss the techniques in this video of another piece: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp66nKaQotSNqqs
