You didn't mention board length, doesn't look like an Armstrng board in the footage. 4 footer or 4.5 better for towing?

I think that board is closer to 4ft. It is a Unifoil prototype that I had in my garage. For ocean tow 4.0-4.5 works really well. We ride the wkt 109 a ton but it seems a bit light and the short length can get really wonky when towing up. There is a lot more chop out there and you typically want to sink and start the boards under water so you aren’t fighting chop and current. A bit more weight also dampens the undulations that happen as well. This is noticeable on bigger days. The tow speeds are very fast so you want to be able to plow through vs getting bounced around.
