I love my honeycomb blocks too. I use the steel soldering pins with it to help hold some things in place. They fit perfectly into the small holes. I tried the ceramic pins but they break far too easily. lol.. Thanks so much for the tips!

As cushion for soldering i use ceramics wool mat it's not so expensive to buy and pretty useful.

what kind of stones do you have in the pan? I'm putting together my first soldering station and that's what I want, just not sure if it matters what type of stones you put in. Thanks for your videos, always pleasure to watch!

Hi! Thank you 🙏 and that sounds very exciting, good luck on that!! And my rotary pan is filed with pumice stones 😊 and yes it matters what kind of stones goes into it, because you are heating your soldering blocks on it.

Because you can use it on its own and heat has to be lifted more from the table 🙂
