Hi Tracey The diesel heater is working really well, not had it on full power yet as it’s so toasty. Hahaha thank you, it was Di that bought it for me 😂😂

Hi Ken Thank you, still have a few more jobs to do, a couple we will do when we get to Spain as will be dryer and allow us to get on the roof without getting blown off 😂😂 The diesel heater is working a treat, I can’t recommend it highly enough to be honest, glad we decided not to go with Chinese and get the Autoterm now, it pumps out a lot of heat and that’s in a 38’ motorhome, we haven’t even run it on max yet, just ticks over on number 2 setting with the occasional boost to 4 so not even half way up. Fantastic bit of kit 😊👍

Why a diesel heater when LPG is probably cheaper?

Few reasons, diesel is a lot easier to top up as we can just pop out in the car and fill a can. The LPG heating isn’t really that efficient, and does use a lot of gas. The heater can be run on white or red diesel, or even heating oil so can be pretty cheap to run. Then you have the issue that gas heating produces a lot of condensation but diesel heater helps to dry out the air and reduce condensation. LPG is getting harder to refuel lately, plus you can’t always get to the LPG pumps due to the size of the RV, covers all bases. 👍
