I'm almost done with my freshman year of college and right now my priorities are making and maintaining healthy friendships, doing well in my classes, and enjoying any content I like (podcasts, books, KZbin, shows, etc.)

What I really love about this video is that you focus on productivity, time and mental health. Essentialism in KZbin is usually addressed through the material side, decluttering and owning less stuff, and then, maybe using essentialism as a habit. But you went straight to the core of the topic and it turned out great. Lovely video! Hugs from Argentina ❤
@TheBlissBean4 жыл бұрын
Honestly I didn't even think about it much on the material side, haha! I guess because the course focused on essentialism in your time and schedule 😂 But yes it's so important to balance the physical decluttering with a decluttering of your commitments and time 👏

Really excited for this one - consumerism is so prevalent in the world and the only people it truly benefits are the mega wealthy. I appreciate that you are making essentialism more known ❤️ I can struggle occasionally with impulse purchasing but I’m hoping this video provides a new perspective 💕 Thank you!

I've realized that I really should learn more about this essentialism topic because I always want to be a maximalist in everything, do everything that's possible and I feel like I overdo it. Stress and sleep deprivation isn't the healthiest way to lead my life during my final grammar school year. I should change it. However, the more I want, the less I actually can do. Time just flows away without me doing anything meaningful. So, it's time to change! You made me realize that I don't need to do everything perfectly, I should just do a little every day while valuing my own work and effort. Thanks, Bliss Bean! You are truly motivating and your videos are so heartwarming and wholesome!

I talk all about this on my channel! I call the important things "values" and by placing focus on them and eliminating the unnecessary, life is just way more fun, playful and purposeful! I love to ask myself before taking on anything: "is this vital to my life at the present time?"

Really looking forward to this one - currently researching essentialism for my own self-development - interesting stuff. Also, of course, adore Beatrice’s aesthetic and general approach. I am really glad I found your channel, and your take on "minimalism" is just so relatable for me. I don't want to get rid of 90% of my things, I just want to keep those that add value to my life and it doesn't matter if it's a quote printed on paper, a withered flower from the garden, old stamps, clothes from my grandma, etc. what matters is how important they are to the present moment and the future I want to build. It's all in the mindset, I guess. I'm now a Bliss Bean Baby lol. I will be binging on your videos tonight. They are very helpful and inspirational. I have learned a lot. Thank you and much love from the Philippines. x

I'm really getting in to routines so I started a morning routine and I want to stick with that so I suppose that's an essential because it really makes me feel ready to conquer the day. I also want to blog more and over the past few months I have gotten really good at planning and streamlining most of the work. 1) Keep daily routines 2) Write I think creating routines and streamlining my blog work has created a lot more time for me to do another things. It's very effective. Thank you for this video Beatrice!

Thank you. I will watch the rest later. You said your top priority was taking care of yourself, you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor if you don't. (And really if you dont' take care of yourself you can't labor...) I"m chronically ill and dealing with chronic fatigue right now. I didn't want to take a nap. It feels like it takes up so much of my time. (And really it does.) But me shoving myself through getting things done when I'm this exhausted is not going to serve me or anyone else. And whatever tasks I did manage, would probably be half-assed. So I'm going to take a nap. I'm going to listen to my body, and do the other essentials when I wake up. Again.

thank you, Beatrice!! i am currently struggling how to use my time productively because everything feels so overwhelming. after watching this video, I realized that advance studying is essential since the classes will probably start next month. Also, I noticed that learning Korean is taking too much of my time even though I did not set any time limit on it and it's not that important as compared to reviewing and studying. so yeah, I will definitely make a list of those essential and non-essential things first thing in the morning, a schedule, and a time tracker. :) 보라해! 💜
