A-10 TANK BUSTER RC JETS in ACTION FIRING DREADED GAU-8 Gatling GUN/CANNON with added Brrrttt !

These awesome RC A-10 Tank Busters are powered by micro gas turbine jet engines which give more than enough power for realistic vertical performance and speed on low passes. The black/white camo kit is made by Skymaster Jets and the all grey version is made by Mibo. Both leading manufacturers in the radio control jets of many different types. These models were flown by Steve Johnson and Mick Burrell, both regular UK RC Show pilots.
The Skymaster A-10 is 1:6.25 scale with length 2552 mm (101.3”) and wingspan 2784mm (109.6”). Dry weight is 20kg to 22kg (45-48Lbs) and the model needs 13-15 servos.
Mick's Mibo A-10 is a generation 6 kit has electric retracts and brakes is 3m span and weighs 54lbs dry 66 at take off. The model is powered by two Kingtech 160G series2 turbines giving a total of 78lbs thrust from 7Ltrs of fuel which it burns in 8mins. The decelerons (the name for the split ailerons) were my own modification so in that respect the example is unique. My A10 is modelled on the USAF airshow demonstation aircraft which flys a known demo schedule an example of which can be found on KZbin "A10 RIAT 2011" so carries no armament or Penny Pod. The model is guided by Jeti DS24 radio uses a Centrebox 400 power distribution and 2 three cell LiPos it also runs 15 servos.
Filmed at a the Large Model Association (LMA) Tibenham Show with the Panasonic AG-UX180 4K pro camcorder by Dom Mitchell of Essential RC KZbin channel. Brrrttt sound effects added in post-production just for a bit of fun !

If they really wanted to make the thing not so op, it’s simple, really lower the amount of bombs it can carry and take out the barrage missiles. Then the plane can have its gun that is so known for! Once more, rockstar never fails to disappoint their players🙄

Anti-Virus that depleted uranium round was ment for armor and hardened targets. It might just walk harmlessly through the 190s airframe leaving clean holes. That is so freaking incredible, i am not into this hobby. As an ex Air Force guy, i want to be now! That is absolutely the one i would want to, the A-10. Even though we flew F-16's at my base. You can actually. Ether on scale with rotating 7 barrels, but that requires machine shop access for free and hefty knowledge on airsoft tech side of things, as 3,900 rpm technically is possible (i designed such gun), while extremely difficult (read no one has done it so far, but if someone really wants to make this thing i can help with it, specially if i can get one machined for my self, or just simple one that shoots from barrel axle. Later one can be done with wulferine HPA kit and biggest question comes, how much weight this plane can carry? Aluminum HPA bottle, regulator, 300grams? HPA kit, gun frame, barrel and motor 500grams? even less made from carbon fiber or such, just barrel ends being aluminum. First realistic version would be much heavier and there ammo start to really weight quite a bit.

My favourite usaf aircraft. Many years ago I was lucky enough to deliver a load of soft drinks to the tiger squadron at Upper Heyford. We were accompanied from the gate house by an MP in a huge GMC truck down the edge of the runway with A10's taking off and doing touch and go no more than 30 meters away. Not to brag but, when I was in the AF stationed at Charleston, S.C, a guy I was stationed with, his brother was a crew chief for the F-15 and they were tdy at Charleston. I got the chance to sit in one. Another time and I could just kick myself right in the ass for not doing it, was offered the chance to get in a C-130 simulator. Missed a chance of a lifetime.
