Thank you for mentioning the fact of not being afraid to go up a size. I see so many content creators putting on blazers, coats and jacket claiming they fit and they can’t button them or zip them. The buttons and zippers are there for a reasons even if you don’t use them. I am with you on my pants not looking like they are flooding. Especially pants that hat a little flare on the bottom. That flare look crazy hitting the ankle or above. You made some very good point on everything you mentioned.

Stumbled upon your channel today. Have watched a couple of videos. You are brilliant. You adopt an intellectual, intelligent and practical approach to fashion. I like that you're more focused on style than fashion. Ignore criticism, you speak from education and experience and you are seriously funny.

I’m with you on the blazer fit (or any shirt, coat or jacket for that matter). Those shoulders have to fit right. And permanently scrunched sleeves are just too limiting to be worth buying. For pants, if they aren’t jeans, they need to be wool or linen otherwise they don’t fall right or keep their shape.

Good morning, Queen Cookie. As always, you never disappoint and your content is not only exquisitely beautiful, but also, just down right practical. Thank you for spending quality time with the “Cookie Community” here on KZbin. There are those of us who enjoy the quality time and not simply the “sound bite!” No shade, just speaking my truth. Hi Carolyn, you are so funny, informative, and funny. I am so glad you're saying to wear what you want-that’s what I’m hearing. Also, camasols for me are a must. Natural fabrics should be the first thing you look for if you can wear the fabric. I am so tired of these blogs that say you shouldn’t wear whatever because they are out of style. Find your style and love it. 🌹🌹

It’s so hard to find clothes that fits me as a petite woman but coats, jackets and blazers are THE major major struggle I’m a 5.0 ft, 101 pounds woman and trying to find any that looks good on me it’s overwhelming I can’t do anything oversized because I look like a 5yo girl who’s trying on her mum’s clothes I disappear on them, it makes me hate winter season 😩

I really like the list of basics. The only thing is from my experience body shape plays a big part in what works for whom. For instance for the basic T-shirt, if you have a larger bust a high crewneck can close you off, so what would be a good alternative neckline style that would be flattering? Would you consider creating a video on style basic suggestions based on proportions?

I’m very happy that your channel is prospering. I am a Visual Merchandiser/ Display Designer in luxury retail in NYC with 20+ years in the industry. You know style, you know fashion, and I stand behind everything you’ve shared in your videos. I have experienced quite a lot of racism in my role… My father gave me his name, so on paper I sound like a Caucasian male, but when I enter the building for a freelance gig at Fendi or interview for a corporate position for other undisclosed Italian luxury names I get the ‘gasp, big eyes, chins hitting the floor’ expression when they see me. I am very well groomed, poised, and knowledgeable with a Bachelor’s in Visual Art. But, my skin color will be brown and that isn’t acceptable. Have you experienced these things? One more thing, a tip shared with me years ago,… you are beautiful, but you Emot so much, your face will show signs of age very quickly. Try tapering down the expressions, you’ll thank me later. 😅💐✨💖

Jeans are one of those things where you have to mentally prepare to go shopping for (along with bathing suits and cots for me) but next time I’ll have a lil bite so I don’t get frustrated as easily. Being a New Yorker you def have to have your coat game on point!! I’m going to star5 looking at men’s coats too! Thank you for so many pointers ✨
