I’m wearing City Slicker right now and I love it! 😍 I’ve never been attracted to textured polish before because they always appeared so dull. However, I loved the colors in this collection so much that I decided to give them a try! Glad I did! These textured polishes definitely still have a sparkle to them after they dry and really do look like glittery concrete; perfect name. I hope Essie makes more of them!

I don't remember where I saw it demonstrated, but I've seen where a wide brush was cleaned on the bottle by pressing the narrow sides of the brush touching rather than the wide, flat sides. This created a temporary "narrower" brush more effective for use on smaller nails.

I love love love these colors but I really don't care for the textured polishes. They just always look to me like my nails were still wet and I touched it to some sort of fabric or something. (Let me explain lol) I have decided to fold laundry after painting my nails several times thinking they are dry only to later notice that they all resemble this polish. I just don't care for it but the colors are gorgeous!!!

These are my first textured polishes and I bought the whole collection - love love love them!! I started collecting polish way back in the day before Zoya Pixie Dusts were released and then when they hit the market I just didn't get the appeal. I dropped out of the game for a number of years and recently got back into polish and it seems I now have some catching up to do!

Hey Jess, did you have any drying issues? In Phoebe Moon's review, she said they didn't dry down, even after 5 hours! I was meh over this collection, but now after seeing your review, I'm definitely going to pick up a couple! Can't wait to see what Nine Zero is doing for winter!!!!

I haven't had any issues with drying. I'm wearing the gold right now actually and I'd say the dry time was normal. From what I understand, when a polish won't dry or takes forever to dry, it's usually an environmental issue. My polish takes forever to dry when my hands are cold, for example. I know natural oils on the nails and humidity can influence dry time too :)

I haven't tried these yet but I will second this. I know that before I moved, at my old house I ended up having to throw out 90% or more of my nail polish collection because our A/c went out and it got SO hot and humid that it just ruined the polish. I tried everything to bring some of my favorites back, but nothing worked. When I tried to paint my nails they would be gloppy, and never fully dry down. I think cold or dry it has a lot to do with dampness in the air.

That collection! I was so worried when I fell in love with the first pink with gold because I don't like pink (unless it's neutral/ French mani). But then the second pink was a no... So back to normal 🤣🤣🤣 Other than the bright pink I could easily buy the rest.

I have this colection by accident and had no idea that such a thing Luke textured polish exists 😂so yeah..i guess i hate textured polishes. Why is that even a thing? Who thinks that this is beautiful?
