Watching your videos is like entering Aladdin’s cave of wonders! Thank you for sharing and enlightening us on these miniature and not so miniature jewels for hats! The deer pin with the faux citrine is a stylized thistle, the horns forming the leaves. A well known symbol for Scotland. You are still young, for those of us seniors it has taken a lifetime of education to learn some of what you know. You do a great job of educating and informing. As someone with unruly curly hair and a large hair I could never wear hats. However I have always thought hairpins were pretty, but never knew they were so beautiful and some worth so much. Hard to say which one was my favorite as there were so many. Rest your neck tonight. I do not want you to hurt yourself for the sake Of pulling off seven straight shows. Hi Jason, Have been busy but have watched your your 7 day marathon late at night…. Your video a few days ago brought back a cool memory to me from years ago. The video was the one with the Heinz helmet lamp, I saw one of theses lamps at a small town thrift store near by and it was missing its original shade and that had been replaced with a funky older type aluminum heat lamp shade. I could just tell da one thing wasn’t right. Anyway the bronze and sterling rest of what was there had been painting a dark cherry red. I can’t remember exactly what the store was asking for the lamp, somewhere around $15/$17 dollars I believe. At that time I didn’t have the $$$ to purchase nor did I know who made the lamp, I had to leave without it and felt a loss somehow. I thought about the lamp on and off for days….. one day about a month andd a half later I was driven to return to that store in hopes it was still there. I walked in, I looked in area where t had been and didn’t see it, I looked other places as well , went back and looked in area again and I spied it pushed behin other objects but on same shelf. Very excited I grabbed it up and headed home, I was so happy I could quit thinking about it.! To make a long longer story short I found the name Heinz on the lamp, looked on eBay and there one was, I was yippy skippy and totally overjoyed.! So a beautiful heintz lamp painted blood red….. after I carefully stripped the lamp, test a small area with paint stripper, it worked perfectly,,,,, sold it on eBay for $160.00 and really wished I could have held on to it but had a feeling I would never have any money to buy the right shade so I sold it. Things come to me throughout y life and literally fall in my hands d somehow. I find so much happiness in my very lovely and amazing blessings. So cool. Thanks for sharing your blessings as well.
