This product works so good when you dunk your face in cold water n let it dry USEING a fan !! I get complements each n every time I do this ! a damp sponge can do the trick also but the dunk leaves it so much Matte with blurred out blemishes

It’s the best foundation hands down! My only concern is that most of the consultants are impatient with testing and I’ve bought the wrong shade quite a few times but because it’s so qualitative, even a close shade can still work but obviously not as well as the perfect match.

It's not badly priced, woolies runs beauty special for 25% frequently, it will last longer, therefore saving you money, a little goes a long way and you would be saving on powder as it stays Matt and flawless for hours. Also get 7day sample from Edgars, Truworths element and woolies Undertones are bit off, it seems they are like Mac studio fix matching every black girl with NW45, they match every black girl with Sandalwood. I will rate 4 out of 5 for matching, as I have to mix my sandalwood with lancome teint idole ultra 5star on coverage 5 star long lasting

She did my entire face with the foundation and I wore it all day with no problem at all. Amazing how the color can look so similar until you apply them. I love it!

but Thandi the thing is at most edgars stores the beauty sales people DO NOT want to test you... they want to recommend u a color that they think is best for u, when u ask for samples....they look at u as if you are only looking for freebies. thats why I just walk away from Esteer lauder because it is a very expensive foundation for some of us to just take the wrong shade. What i did was ask for them to do 2 shades that would match my face I walked around the mall then see how it feels and looked. Because at Edgars they are stingy with the samples. It is a worthy investment though it covers everything and you only need a little.

You are a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, just stumbled upon your channel, ESTEE LAUDER is definitely a full coverage foundation, please, I watched you apply it and right away I noticed you might want to try a different brush, along side of your jawline needed blending, even take a beauty blender and press, work it in , I'm in the shade Sandalwood also, I'm a senior 60+ years young, foundation, heck makeup has come A LONG WAY, I remember when all we had was Flori Roberts, and Fashion Fair. WOW! Definitely come a LONG WAY, I have been doing this makeup game a long time, AND HAVE BEEN ENJOYING IT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, UNFORTUNATELY for me drug store dosen't get me right, I DEFINITELY HAVE TO WATCH MY UNDERTONES, which are dark skin with golden undertones, Mac, Nars just to name a few, setting powder is extremely important, but with the right undertones, a extremely light hand , and of course the right tools , I love ,stay BLESSED and BEAUTIFUL 🥰!!

I play around with a lot of matte foundations because I'm the oiliest person in the world lol, but this foundation right there is my absolute favourite .I have been using it for the past 5 years and it has never dissapointed no break outs , no oily nose , no oily Tzone ,airbrush finish . It's pricey but considering that you also don't need to build it up that much ,it lasts longer . I LOVE IT .

@Precious K. Ramokoka if that's now too light for you it's worth checking the next shade down and see if that one works instead.. that's what I did at the time. The Doublewear retailer should ideally give you samples as well if you aren't sure. I nolonger use it my skin cleared up a while ago and I switched to Fenty and a Bobbi Brown serum and I haven't looked back

I used to be a MAC studio fx die hard until they decided to close down Edgars in DBN CBB so when I got there they told me to go to Gateway, and I was like heck no.. I went to Truworths and the cashier at the cosmetics told me to try out Estee Lauder they will have MAC in 2 months or so.. I was hesitant but because Mihlali loved it I knew I wasnt making a mistake by giving it a try.. The only mistake I made was allowing a consultant from another brand to assist me with shade matching since the Estee Lauder one was unavailable that day.. Unfortunately this consultant gave me a very dark shade - Sandlewood (for my skin) which had a pink undertone and convinced me that its my shade even when i told her that its not and persuaded me to take, so i did.. Deepdown I knew I wasnt happy with it, but you guys know how pushy those ladies are.. So the following day i decided to test it again. Everyone told me its too dark.. I use NC44.5 or NC45 with MAC so i should have gotten something caramelly.. Called Estee Lauder head office and told them about this unfortunate encounter and they told me to return it and i'll be given another shade.. And yes I did, I was not given any issues, they had an Estee Lauder consultant assist me this time and gave me another bottle, Rich Chestnut, still a little darker but i'm not mad, I couldnt stop looking at myself in the mirror that day. Still have not used the new bottle though, they gave me a tester this time around. Shout out to Lesego from Truworths DBN CBD for being so kind during the whole process. Everything Thandi is saying here is very true, this is by far the best foundation and i'm staying with this brand..
