I swear by the advanced night repair. Its the only serum that calmed my skin. Never had acne since using it for 2years now. Noticeable improvement on my face. It made my skin looking really supple and improved lines on my forehead I also noticed that it did help with my dark spots. I stopped using hydroquinone and just using the anr as sole serum at night. Im already turning 30 but still being asked for my ID when buying alcohols and in clubs 😅

I don't think being asked for ID = looking younger than 21. 😂 It's just people doing their job. Usually, anyone who looks younger than 45 should be asked for ID. If they don't and are caught in a sting NOT asking for ID, they'll lose their job on the spot.

I have always wondered for the life of me why some really great brands with brilliant products unnecessarily included fragrance in their product. The only conclusion I can come up with is that they are knowingly taking advantage of olfactory memory and associative learning, which can increase customer retention, and the potential for inherited generational clientelle.

I am 74 and have used Estee Lauder products, since in my thirties, now I primarily use Re-Nutriv for my skin type and I still adore their lipsticks, lots of new colors and new looks, many too far out for myself and my age..my daughter is 49 and she uses the skin care products and serum, lipstick and foundation, she looks ten years younger by the way, my granddaughter is 22 and she too uses Estee Lauder makeup and skin care products! We all love the mascaras and lash primers. What is "old" about Estee Lauder products? A friend of mine from Germany said it is #1 in Europe. I recently gave three E.L. lipsticks to a young teacher in our city who was returning to China. She was thrilled, saying it was very much liked there.

The Advanced Night Repair serum is my favourite serum of all times. And it amazes me every time I put it on my skin bc my skin is super sensitive and I can only use products from Drunk Elephant and First Aid Beauty (anything else causes redness, even CeraVe). But this product instantly calms my skin and reduce the redness. My skin is so radiant in the morning. I haven't noticed any significant improvement in terms of anti-aging tho, but it doesn't bother me that much. I also suffer from mild rosacea flare-ups from time to time which are gone after I've used soolantra. And this serum relieves itching.

Hi Dr. V! Loving all your content and thank you for the effort in helping those with skin of colour! It's wonderful to have a dedicated channel for this. As a black woman who uses the Advanced Night Repair, I just wanted to give my two cents on why it could be a bestseller :) I have oily, acne prone skin and it's never broken me out. It just feels amazing on the skin and sinks in like a dream, leaving a beautiful glow. My skin feels hydrated and very nourished afterwards. I can't single it out as an anti-aging miracle, but in combo with the rest of my skincare, it works wonderfully.

Estee Lauder's skincare is all about hooking you up on the same products forever, the ANR is something you can never stop once you start using it because of how good it is and the instant gratification you get. Sure, it has fragrance, but as you've said it, it could mean any of 4000chemicals and their combinations, my bet would be on the ones that will not trigger an allergic reaction over time as that would litteraly ruin their business plan?

My skin gets a little warm to the touch, itchy and feels rough. I have no issues with any of their other products only ANR. I do agree, the entire line is heavily perfumed. My favorite products are the Revitalizing creams, the Resilience line, the Swiss Performing Extract and the original Renutrive cream formulas.

I used ro like EL creams, however then I found out that they are testing on animals and stopped using the brand. Also they use a lot of fragrance that is not too good for the skin. No EL for me anymore

Hi Dr. Vanita. I love your videos and I am learning so much. Love how you explain the ingrediens in the products. I am so happy to hear that you like the Re-nutriv cream too just without the fragrance of cause. I did like the whole Re-nutriv series when I used it a year ago. Now I am torn between La Mer, Sisley, Dr. Liv Kremer and Dr. Augustinus Bader. Can you please to a video on one of these product. Thank You!

I know you didn't ask me but as someone that has dropped so much money over the years on high and low end (and have the La Mer soft cream, eye cream and original La Mer cream) I can say that La Mer is one of the most overpriced, average moisturizers out there. It's okay but I could rattle off even some drugstore options that do just as much for my late-thirties skin. I have the bottles in my rotation until they run out. I've given the La Mer original cream 3 tries. It's okay - not better or less - just okay.
