I always feel good when I get a chance to fly rockets, been flying since 1968. Whether high-powered or low-powered, the rush of the lift off is thrilling. Love your videos, keep them coming.

Any chance to use micro video camera on the body of this rocket?

I can tell the way you wrap that parachute that you had the same little hand tossed parachute guy the ice cream guy would sale in the late 80s early 90s

I love this channel! I just launched my first model rocket, the Alpha III, and I was wondering, would this be a good next step for me?
@themodelrocket2203 жыл бұрын
It all depends, what was your favorite part of the Alpha 3? Was it the build? (If that's the case this would be a terrible next rocket because there is no build hahaha)
@3dprintinglife4 жыл бұрын
Brilliant! I'm thinking of buying the estes alpha 3 kit as I'm just getting into model rocketeering.

You'll love the Alpha 3, it's an awesome place to start!!

Wow okay superb! Just what I wanted ! I have a question for you are you going to stick with the normal model rockets or will you make something pretty advanced like flight computer and thrust vector control for your rocket?
@themodelrocket2204 жыл бұрын
That's the plan but not for a while. We're starting with the basics and hoping to build up to the crazy stuff. But if you haven't already go check out bps.space (kzbin.info/door/ILl8ozWuxnFYXIe2svjHhg) you'll freak out over what he's creating over there

Hey, I built a launcher, inspired by yours. Today was it's first launches and it went great. Thanks!

RTF rockets! That's my kind of rocket. Also in the process of building your launch controller. Some parts are still being shipped to me... I'll keep you posted!

Yes!! I can't wait to see it!! I love a good mix. Sometimes the build can be a lot of fun, but sometimes life is crazy and I just want to pull it out of the box put an engine in it and send it

Do you build any cool rockets?
@themodelrocket2204 жыл бұрын
Yeah dude, we're just trying to build content from the ground up. Cover a couple fun entry level rockets, basic tips for getting started, then working up to more advanced builds, scratch builds, HPR, etc...

Bro did the booster and fuel and all launch pad and all were included in box ?
@themodelrocket2203 жыл бұрын
No. You'll see at 2:13(ish) a list of the things not included in the box to launch. We have links to all those pieces you can buy. If you don't have a launch pad and don't want to build your own launch controller I suggest you look at a starter set like the Alpha 3 or Tandem X kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZXQaq2rgrCkqM0&t kzbin.info/www/bejne/npKlfGWYhcitabc&t

Hey I have a question. Is this thing reusable
@mplsmark2226 ай бұрын
Do you mean the rocket? Of course it’s reusable. I suspect there are model rockets that have flown hundreds of times. The engines are not reusable however.

Ok one minute in and I’m confused about the RTF Ready to Fly comment but then .. “but.. you’ll need engines, launch controllers and launch pad” 😬
@Muzly8 ай бұрын
I don't know about the Athena kit, but the other RTF kit I bought comes with EVERYTHING you need, including launch pad, wadding, motors and igniter. It's literally all you need to fly a rocket.
@mplsmark2226 ай бұрын
RTF just means the rocket is fully assembled, or mostly assembled, decorated with decals and it can save hours of time.

wackkkkk! just a lame video. Camera way to close didnt get to see the rocket’s trajectory or it climbing. thumbs down
