The next time that you are going to trim one up like this could you please do it live so we can watch all the different steps you do that would really help us out a lot. Just got my Jones in this color based on your review despite being somewhat traditional in my preferences - I think I'm morphing into a 66 year old free spirit. I modified it somewhat and LOVE it. I love that style! It is very similar to my own hair at the present time, but of course nicer and more dependable! I wish they would make more layered, shaggy, texturized wigs in medium lengths. I think they are so fresh, modem and youthful.

Great advice about taming the permatease with your hands, spritzing with water and hanging it upside down. I love how you modified the wig. Many new wig wearers need these tips to make a wig their own. Every wig needs a bit of customizing. Great review, Taz.

Taz, I just got my Jones late yesterday. I started working on the puffy volume. That said, I felt there was something a bit off on the shaping of the layers that really bothered me. Then I remembered that you mentioned that you modified yours. I rewatched this video and am going to do the same...yours looks and lays just right! Thank you, once more for sharing your great tips! XXOO UPDATE: I just finished modifying. Took off the 1/2 inch, tamped down the permatease in front, texturized sparingly and then used the hot air brush (on low & carefully) to scrunch all over and add more texture as well as contour at the front hairline. It looks terrific!!!

I bought this wig after watching you model it. I have loved it for a long long time but it doesn’t come in my go to colours. I decided to bite the bullet when I saw it on special and purchased it in a brown. By the end of the day, after it had moulded to my head, I feel like wigs need that bonding time with you, I loved it in-spite of not being my ideal colour. I’ve always been a lover of the shag hairstyle but the nature of my bio hair just doesn’t lend itself to that style well. So thank you as always for your great videos.

This is exactly what I'm looking for it's like a mix of Hunter and Stop Traffic but shorter and it's adorable however Estetica doesn't offer it in any color that has a red tone and I need a red tone in order to warm up with brown I'm so sad because I was going to order the for 4/6 and the 6/28 but neither of those will work with my skin tone so I need to wait for Estetica to come out with some more colors with a red tone because they have none at this time it's Simply Adorable it would be really cute pulled back in a clip and just really casual and flirty I just love it💕

Just a thought, but wouldn't that color that Kim wore in the Aestetica Hunter be an option? It had a very strawberry or light auburn tone to it, would be pretty on anyone who looks great in a redder color wig. Just an idea! I'm going to check if this comes in black, because it's giving me Joan Jett vibes. Love it. So many manufacturers don't do jet black, instead opting for off black, or a black\brown combo which isn't all that flattering to certain skin tones, especially cool\pale tones. The colors are too warm.

Hello! I used a combo of regular and thinning shears.. I make the initial cut with regular but go in and thin at the bottomhalf of the hair shaft to give it a natural look and help it blend with the rest of the shaggy style:-) XOXO

I just sent this wig back. It came to me with no wave in it at all, just choppy layers. I thought maybe they had forgotten to put the wave in it. And it is not heat friendly. I have had over a h undred wigs and I knew I would burn it up if I tried putting heat to it so I sent it back. Of course I would love to try getting another one but then what suppose it comes like the other one. oh well! yours looks great!

Hello! The only head size I can comment on is my own, which is 21.25" circumference.. I wouldn't want to be responsible if I recommend something that wouldn't fit a person. Estetica brand caps are typically very roomy and stretchy..I am told that most should accommodate a larger circumference. You can also search for LARGE sizes.. Raquel Welch, Gabor and Jon Renau and Toni Brattin all offer certain wigs in LARGE size:-) Hope this was helpful! XOXO

Hi Cheryl!! Every wig unit may have some variances, my Jones was one of the first off the line, so later generations may see some difference. However a few things.. be sure to hold upside down and with a wide tooth comb, fluff the permatease, meaning, pull gently at the root all over to loosen permatease and create a bit more volume and fluffiness. Hi Jackie. The only suggestion I have is purchasing the wig and having a styling modify it for you if you are not skilled. This one turned out great.. but when I first started, I had some bloopers..lol. Take Care! XOXO

I just saw another review on this where the cap is very different having the flowered lace top instead of the open wefts. I guess they modified it.

I'm surprised it's a $200 wig with the basic cap. Is the blonde as ashy as it appears? I love love ash blondes and look horrible in warm blondes. I've got an ignite in 12fs8 and seem to be able to get away with that but my favorite ignite is in martini. I would love to try the California blonde Palm Springs that has the 101 in it, but I've not seeing it in person. Is it pretty ashy also? Is it as pretty as martini? Id like martini with more contrasting colors. That's what I thought the Palm Springs blonde looks like, just chunkier or something I'm not sure the exact word I'm looking for but Martini is pretty well blended in the few things I've gotten it in. I think I only have scarlet, evan and ignite in martini

It holds up well throughout the day.. but occasionally I will take it off and shake it out and reapply while on a bathroom break XOXO

It’s so helpful. Thank you! I was wondering if there are any specific websites you could direct me to for purchasing? Or perhaps some other viewers might throw some out there? I’m pretty new to wigs and I’m telling you what! I’ve had a time purchasing online. I’ve visited specific sites like Jon Renau but it just had an option to contact by phone but not to purchase there. It seems that you have to purchase their brands from other sites... it’s all a bit confusing lol Anyway, thanks again!!!

Hi, NicNic...I've always purchased my wigs from a local business where I could go in and try them on. Only recently have I started purchasing online. I was very hesitant about buying online because I've heard horror stories about how some online companies send you "used" wigs you've purchased at full price or that customer service is terrible if you want to return something. I have used both Wigs.com and Cysterwigs.com and have had great experience with both.

@@nicnic9826 You're welcome! It's hard to know what companies to trust online so I have only used ones I've seen reputable wig reviewers (like Taz and Jill Lynn) use. I have yet to purchase a wig from Patti's Pearls but I subscribe to her channel, too, and I would trust that site as well.

Theyre about the same length, but Jones has a much lighter density, even heavier texturized compared to Hunter:-) XOXO
