This wig looks great on you. I love when you pushed the bangs (fringe) totally off to the sides. I can't have hair on my forehead. I'm always pushing it away because it's in my eyes or making my face hot.

Hi Ange it's a pretty wig and looks nice on you. I think it's difficult to judge what your hair will be like when it's still so short. Most women with fabulous silver hair have to work at it - using toning treatments and glossing treatments to make the grey bright and shining. It's too early to really say how yours will look once it grows back in a bit more and might be pretty in it's own right. Our skintone does change in line with our hair colour - both have less pigment than when we were young. Best wishes.

Thanks beautiful I popped an ammonium free rinse through a couple of days ago and it’s quite nice but my family quite like the colour it is growing back naturally I’m still taking some getting used to it 🥴

Just a short note to tell you that you should not be dying your hair for at least 6 months, if not longer for your hair to become stronger after completing chemo. If done too soon, it could irriate your scalp. Me, personally, would not be dying my hair until 1 year out but then I do not care what color it is anyway. As long as I wake up everyday, that is what is important to me, not my hair color.

I have used an ammonium free semi permanent in it and it was perfect. Will last up to 28 washes. This is usually how I colour my hair at home. Won’t do it very often but know that it is ok. I chose a very natural colour just to take the grey down.

Even though I have medical insurance the shortfall we have had to pay has been around $16,000 but I am thankful to have had very good care. It has been this that has made me rethink how much money I spend on other things. I hope you find very good care for your mother ❤️
