Thank you, thank you!🎉Your videos are a godsend. I'm always watching and absorbing the valuable information that you give. Cowlicks have begun to reign supreme on my head. All across my nape, sideburn area, crown and now bangs. So, I am trying to love them and allow my hair to grow longer. This has revealed that I actually have wavy hair. Shorter top layers are a no no so my hairstylist and I, during our last meeting, collaborated on how to install inside layers in order to maximize the waves. Next visit will be a more customized bang that will fit in. It will become custom shag with a twist of mullet that will absolutely compliment my hair. It's a work in progress and I'm thankful my stylist is on board. He was so excited last cut that he exclaimed " together we have created a custom cut for you" and I was given a discount!! So grateful to have finally found him.❤

What’s frustrating is, I’ve always been told to cut my hair shorter or to layer it, to create volume. Well, i personally don’t like how I look with shorter hair. Ages me. Plus, unless I curl those layers, it doesn’t look good just laying on the back of my head. My stylist tells me how fine and thin her hair is, and complains about it….but she spends thousands of dollars on extensions. Well, I should tell her to cut and layer her hair and see her reaction. 😆 Now I’m trying to grow out my layers and I know it’s driving her crazy, but in the end, I gotta have something that makes me feel more confident. Thanks for listening.

Love the comb on top of the head to determine where your bangs should start to fall forward. Super interesting! My hair gets thin looking just below the shoulders, like you described and wasn’t doing a thing for me, so I cut it short a couple weeks ago and my eyes and cheekbones reappeared! My curly hair came back with a vengeance! Tons of volume when I control the wave. Or I can blow it out pretty straight. It doesn’t stay straight, some soft wave rebounds but that’s okay, I like it like that.

Hi, Justin! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. I still have my hair, but I have lost a ton of my density. My hair falls slightly below the top of my shoulder. It's basically one length with slight face framing layers with a slight bang. Would you recommend more layers or adding more product and changing my styling technique. I used root lift. I blow dry upside down until my hair is about 80% dry. Then I use a blow dry brush. I want to get a round brush what size would you recommend? I have been in tears because it seems I really can't get fullness. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. I have learned so much from you, which has been an unexpected gift. You ROCK!

@jeantarwater2606Ай бұрын
I've been following your channel for several years now. I'm so confused by all the terms used interchangeably to really mean different things. Thin hair relates to density; fine hair is one type of texture (fine hair strands, medium, or coarse). Hair "thins" as we age, but it's the texture that determines density as well. People with fine-textured hair with low density really struggle to make their hair look fuller. LOVE THE LAST BOB! I'm going to show it to my stylist. Thank you. Love Dionna's hair shorter too.

I have the bob haircut with nape beveling and bangs and I love it. I ride several horses five days a week and it survives wearing a helmet and getting sweaty. When I take off my helmet I can just finger comb it and my hair looks great until I can get home to wash it. I clip back the sides to bend down for cleaning horses hooves, etc. it’s very practical. It’s a nice change from the usual ponytail. I have a good photo of it but I can’t figure out how to switch out my picture on KZbin….😂

Thank you. Confirmed that there are some styles that work for low density hair. Just as I suspected, it takes some manipulation of said styles to make them not be a disaster. There is just no education for those of us with low density, and even more problematic, as you pointed out, almost NO PHOTOS online of low density styles to take inspiration from! But even if there were, there is no info about what to do to achieve the look. Its the same problem with low density curly hair, evidently no one can get it to look good. Or worse, multiple curl pattern curly hair (I have 2a waves at crown and 3a curls at nape and cannot find ANYONE who knows a solution or a stylist who can suggest a haircut that would work in curly form). Thanks for this information, it will help out so many people who feel hopeless about finding a good style.

Hey, I recognize that beautiful lady modeling that short bob haircut! That's Dominique Sacse! I follow her channel too! I Love seeing Deeana in the videos, however, I would prefer the camera angle to be shot straight on, & not on a side angle. It seems odd to shoot it from the side, plus we want to see more of Deena's beautiful face! I also think that maybe having Deeana on the other side of you where you're more in the same single camera angle, verses her being off into a different area, to me, it feels less personal the way you are shooting it. The "vibe" is different. I'd prefer a more cozier feeling of an interaction together between you two, that's when you guys shine. Just my (meant lovingly), "two cents", for what it's worth. LOVE you BOTH! 🫶

Can you do a video on how to cut hair over directional? I used to have a stylist that did cut in this method that let me have movement with layers but are BLENDED so I can wear long layers (my hair is curly fine but full) that allow fullness and and natural wave (or not if I want straight) but I can''t find a stylist that really really knows how to do this. They say they do during a consultation and then I watch them cut my layers at a 90 degree angle from the floor so my curls/ waves look like a mullet. Help please!

Great question! All the same principles apply. If you have wave, you're hair will handle more layering though. So basically, any time I mention layering, just no you could be a tiny but more aggressive with it. Withthat said, I really need to do a whole video for curly hair on this to show the styles.

Another reason to create bangs: they will cover the frown lines in between your eyebrows, the "elevenses" aptly named because they resemble the number 11.

I have a question for you what I don’t know if you can ask answer this or not but what can you take or what can you do if you are thinning in the back because of major back surgery and being under anesthetic for seven hours is there something I could take a vitamin or some product that would help me in the short run if you could help me out that would be fantastic and I love following your videos and I always watch your new videos if you could help me out that would be great thank you!!!!❤😮

Thank you for your videos! Do you have an arty friend who could draw exactly what you are talking about if you are unable to include actual photographs?

All very interesting. However I lost hair due to menopause and medication. You can see my scalp all over. It's white, thin really baby fine. I have a long neck, long face short flat forhead with cow locks and witches peak slightly off centre.
