Every time I see these kids munching on rolls I get a huge craving for one! They look so fluffy and good. ❤❤

Praying for these beautiful children.

So nice to see Baby (Rebecca) Been a while since we saw her. She is as beautiful as her mother Esther. Ashley had gotten so tall! Little Dennis is no longer a baby, but a little boy. They have all grown. I pray that someone can take over for Mary Cheek. 4:20

Where do they all live?

@@irenedavo3768 Esther, the mother, is a drug addict and alcoholic who purchased her drugs and alcohol mostly through prostitution. I believe she has 7 or 8 children. Each one has a different father. When they found these kids they were starving and covered with jiggers, hands and feet. Just awful. It was Rebecca, Ashley, Debbie, Kevin, and baby Asheinja (not sure of spelling). Rebecca was caring for the others. Within a few visits we found out there was an older daughter who was living somewhere else. Then after a few years Esther got pregnant again with little Dennis. So many people donated because we were all so moved. I remember someone sent in beautiful quilts for the children. Of course Esther sold them and other things. They still have the two bunk beds at least. It was around this time that Jim, Doris and Joan found Deborah to be a nanny. She had been a true Godsend and an Angel to those children. Someone even tried to put Esther in business. Bought supplies to set up a little snack stand. Of course due to Esther's addiction she sold all the supplies too. Mary Cheek stepped in several years ago and has been paying Deborah's salary, food baskets, which Deborah takes home and dolls out as needed. Mary has also been buying them clothing and paying school fees, which they never give to Esther. These children would be lost were it not for RUS, Mary and other donors. I am praying someone or several people can sponsor these children. They live in their original house which RUS cemented and patched the walls. They were building a kitchen, but there was pushback from Esther's father who owns the land. I don't remember how that ended up, but they house is very small.

Is there a store, in your Country, that I can go,on line, to order baskets.
@estherwilliams42139 күн бұрын
I'm not sure about this but I will check with Jim and let you know. However it is much easier to send the funds to Jim and he will purchase the baskets for them.

In the title you say fatherless kids when in fact they're also motherless.
