It’s incredible how Sophia’s journey shows the power of resilience and forgiveness. It’s heartbreaking to imagine the pain of being abandoned at such a young age, but her ability to rise above it is truly inspiring. Margaret’s kindness highlights how one act of compassion can truly change a life. Do you think that forgiveness, even after so much hurt, is the key to healing and transformation? How do you believe we can nurture that kind of compassion in ourselves and others?

I would not have kicked my child out for being pregnant, especially when she was so very young. She was not old enough to work and support her self. She is my child and that little baby is my grandchild. She and the baby need medical care. I would never kick them out. She needed love and support from her family. I couldn't treat my daughter that way.

Do you think the abuse/rape of a child was"addressed"? It was not.
@Rwthless12 ай бұрын
@@julietolis1918 No it was not addressed. The community was savagely moralistic and selfish. Accusing a bereft child of theft on top of her earlier misfortunes was beneath contempt. No mention of the father of her child. Was she raped by a schoolchild, one of the people mentioned like Carlos, or even her own father? Sophia brightens up when she hears he died. The narration was very disjointed. Obviously an AI narrator with no understanding of the flow of a language.

It's not that many years ago when girls who were found in the family way were shuffled off to places far away from family until they gave birth. The babies put up for adoption, and the young, heartbroken mama's would sometimes go back home to family. They were shamed and treated horribly. School was a misery because their reputation was that they were bad girls. Luckily, none of our family experienced this. But I had a very good friend it did happen to. She was changed when she came back. 😢

Vraag me af of de vader bekend is. 🥰
