She may have sensitive combination skin, but when you're younger, sometimes your skin can handle it. But once you hit 30's and especially 40's, it's a huge no-no and you will have to do a lot of damage repair.. I learned the hard way. But luckily I always used sunscreen since my teens and I think that was my saving grace. I also noticed that many celebrities don't focus on their necks, shoulders and decolletage. I always start skincare on my face and end up at the back of my neck. I've been doing this for years; I'm in my late 40's now and I have no lines on my neck.

I've had lash extensions for about 4 years and I had to stop getting them briefly during covid lockdown, and my lashes were exactly the same as they were before! But I have very short light lashes. I also get mega volume extensions and my lashes are fine. Also the lash and brow serum from the ordinary is amazing! I accidentally ripped out a few of my lashes on the outer corner and I used that and they grew back so fast! My lash artist was impressed! And she gets so close to them. Also it's in stock at sephora now. Also Rhode skincare is fully stocked right now if u still wanna try it all.

16:09, omg I have a k-beauty option that is a lip hydration holy grail! The ClarityRx Dose Of Water lip treatment, like its expensive it's $40, so if you're gonna spend Laneige money might as well spend a bit more and get something that is godly good. I was working with a colleague who was on accutane back in January and we had a blizzard, so my lips were just as cracked and bleeding and dry as my colleague's and so she gave me her extra DOW and omg that ish worked magic. I'm addicted to it in a good way, I always have a tube on me just in case even tho I don't use it super often cuz it is rly expensive, it's like my emergency "nothing else is working and I'm dry as the sahara" product.

I’d say lash extensions react differently for everyone and maybe be slightly concerned. I had a similar bad experience like Natalia. Once I stopped getting lash extensions I was able to notice that more than 50% of my lashes were gone 😭 it was awful, I used a lash treatment serum for a year and a half afterwards and can gladly say my lashes are back in full force and I have no idea why I felt the need to get lash extensions to begin with. My new best friend: lash curler Don’t know why I didn’t use a lash curler on a daily basis, but for anyone who’s nervous about getting lash extensions, try just using a lash curler in the mornings. Obviously won’t give you length, but it helps! 💗

As a person that doesnt have dark coloured lashes i’ve been always told that i have really short lashes and that i should try extensions. I didnt like the idea of extentions, but then I saw girls on insta getting eyelash dye and lift. I started getting it since october and it was a game changer, looks so natural and effortlessly gorgeous and lasts even longer than 1,5 months. My mom even told that she never noticed I had such long and beautiful lashes, that was so emotional she never complimented me about my eyes or lashes, i definitely recommend you try lash dye and lift!!

I found that lash extensions ruined my own lashes .. and it wasn't that my lashes were falling out at a 'normal' rate, or that I noticed it more because the fake lash fell off, I was literally left with short, stubby lashes with gaps between them .. something that I had NEVER experienced before. So I stopped, started using the rapidlash serum and now my lashes (after 6 months) are even better than before .. when I have mascara on now people ask me if I have falsies on ... extensions definitely affect your natural lash over time .. the stick on ones are better if you are wanting extra long/glam ones, they cause way less damage IMHO

11:49 the basic rule of Gua sha is simple in that the top part of the body above the heart, your motions should be downwards to center, lymphatic drainage towards your heart; if you for example dry brush which is similar (lymphatic drainage) from below the heart, your brushing motion is upwards towards the heart center. So many companies like Osea demonstrate improper dry brushing technique, even with oil. They’re just concerned with selling it rather than truly understand the purpose or point of how it works.
@vstormfelt53292 жыл бұрын
I've seen someone go up and down on a sharp v (e.g. up the cheek bone then down to the drain point under the ear, or up the neck and back down to the collar bone on an angle) for depuffing and "lifting" and when I do it consistently (I have chronic fatigue - I'd probably be a crime boss or a double PhD if I didn't) I have fewer migraine days that month. Is that a proper variation on the technique? Or can you just get results for tension migraines even from improper technique?
@sarahwales62762 жыл бұрын
That's a myth, skin brushing etc should not be directed towards the heart. Listen to Dr Morse explain this on KZbin, it's not been a thing for a long time. I haven't seen Osea's demonstration but it may be correct if not directed towards the heart.

Use Latisse ❤❤❤❤ have used it for years & yes, thr lashes fall out, but as you said, it’s natural & my lashes are long, thicker, & got deeper in color. It’s worth the investment & I’d love to hear your thoughts on it & to see you try two & see what works better🤯🤯🤯🤯 video idea💡: use Ordinary on one side & Latisse on the other lash line👍🏼🤞🏼❤️. It would be the battle of prescription verses over the counter & even high end verses a value serum. And if insurance doesn’t cover the Latisse, use Good RX & you can get it for $30-40.00 a bottle & it last WAYYYY longer than what the bottle says. My bottle lasts me a good three months, just have to order extra applications wands off Amazon lol. Please think on this, it would be fun & an actual scientific experiment for fans😁. Hope speech to text is making sense bc I want this battle of the serums lol. Plus it’ll give your lashes a break from the extensions. Just like real extensions, for your head, it does do damage, but you treat your lashes well, but still a 2-3 month break would be great & promise after a Latisse you won’t need extensions anymore & upkeep after you get the results you’re wanting is just using it 1-3 times a week. Okay done rambling😊 #challenge #BattleOfTheSerums

In my opinion the issues with lash extensions mostly lie in the weight on the lash and the after care. More classic style lash extensions are often a little more gentle and volumes tend to weigh on the lash more. I tried the new elf sunscreen -- "e.l.f. SKIN Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30 Sunscreen & Primer" -- that I bought at target. Hated it. Very drying (much like their camo cc cream). (I have somewhat dry skin, pretty sensitive, very reactive.) The tint, I hate it (and I'm a Fitzpatrick I/II). And the pilling was bad, no matter what I had on underneath; I tried it 7 days, using different moisturizers and even without, and it pilled no matter what. It didn't sting my eyes initially. But, one day I was having some allergies from cleaning (ie, dust); I rubbed my eyes a bit, and -- OY -- then I had to just wash my face because the blur and sting were solid. I've yet to find a mineral (or combo) sunscreen or tinted sunscreen (of any type) that my skin agrees with and that does not pill. Like, the Supergoop unseen sunscreen pilled like a mofo (no matter what I did). Sunscreens are very frustrating for me.

For the last four years, I've been using a serum made in Paris. It keeps my lashes long (really long!), and they have never fallen out. It's called UKlash, and it's about $45.00.
