Her skin is great, just youtube it, there r plenty of videos showcasing her bare faced. It’s almost impossible an ex Victoria’s secret model has shitty skin unless they screw themselves up by taking drugs (eg: Lindsay Lohan). However, as a model, it should be understood that she’a naturally blessed with good genes, meaning she doesn’t have normal ppl’s problem like acne to begin with (I personally haven’t seen any super model with acne/acne scars) Coupled with healthy diet+lifestyle (almost all model eat clean), and the best facials+aesthetic procedures in existence, it’s not surprising she has great skin at this age. I really hesitate with her especially after hearing Miranda in a Harpers BAZAAR interview trying to explain why she uses goats milk over cows ("because cows have multiple stomachs and goats only have one making calcium easier to digest").... like what??? She explains incorrect information so confidently it makes me question everything she tries to sell. (FYI - cows and goats are both ruminant species and require multi-chamber stomachs to help digest plants... I'm not sure where she got her info from) *update (no changes made above): I am not claiming to fully understand the nutrient amounts of cow milk vs goat milk - do read on the studies of which is better ~ goat milk has been argued to be a better source of nutrients than cows milk for humans in various studies ~ I was focusing on the fact that Miranda will tell her audience information that isn't fully (or sometimes it is not at all) correct, like the number of stomachs in the quote above. Cassandra made a point in the video regarding a claim the eye oil had a plant-based retinol, which Cassandra then counters. All in all, as consumers, it is our responsibility to do our own research, "turn & learn", and not rely on celebrities to give us facts.

@pinkroses Yeesh. “Don’t trust the “skincare gurus” like estheticians or dermatologists- let’s trust the brand.” Is an incredibly odd mindset. How much research do you do for your skincare? Does it compare to the years of study estheticians, specialists and dermatologists undergo?
@samofsamnation75233 жыл бұрын
@pinkroses I never said skincare is one size fits all and that was never an implication. I’m far more inclined to listen to someone who has done years of study and research rather than a brand whose end goal is money. There have been plenty of times that brands have used ingredients that are intentionally destructive to the skin. An example being the Mario Badescu steroids, where the brand placed steroids in their products without labeling it on the ingredients list for the explicit purpose of getting consumer’s skin addicted to their products. This is not a one time situation either. Brands do shady, illegal things for profit in general. Again- I’ll ask because it wasn’t answered. How does your research compare to the years of research, study, and education that specialists, estheticians and dermatologists undergo for their ability to speak on skincare matters? How much research do you do for your skincare? Do you just google it and try it on your skin or do you have access to a lab for testing? Why does it seem like you find brands infallible and trained experts not? I’d like to know what’s behind your thoughts.

Why is she over-filtering her video! She doesn't need to! But she definitely used an iOS filter app like Spark Camera (paid), Video Filters (free), Chromic (free) or Viddy (free). She looks unnatural and her hands and background get distorted when she gesticulates/moves. James Welsh has done 4 videos on iphone/android video filters, and what to look out for...

She has insecurities like most models. Even the most beautiful model has insecurities . I gotta stick up for my Aussie girl, you’ve gotta understand Miranda was in the modelling industry. So she knows how to look after her skin, and from her upbringing she’s definitely aware of what works, and what doesn’t work for her. Also vogue puts a filter on everything, and everyone they shoot, so the individual who is shooting for vogue, doesn’t really have a say in if they want the blurring filter, on or not. If you look at other videos of Miranda Kerr or actually see her in person, you’ll see that she has a glowing skin, and just from what Cassandra said in the beginning of the video, Miranda may have other skincare that isn’t her brand, but it doesn’t mean that she uses them regularly you know. she might of been trying to put across that her brand is her go to product that she uses every day instead of on occasion. Plus the Vogue video is a chance for her to advertise her product. And get her brand out there, also what some consider skincare others may not as far as the spray goes.

@melinda60864 жыл бұрын
Miranda has been into skincare for a long time - and this brand has been around for several + years now, actually. It’s just gained more traction recently. Miranda didn’t just slap her name on a brand - she specifically created it because of the fact that she had sensitive skin and she wanted to create products that she would readily use and feel safe doing so. She’s spoken about this for years, it’s not just a random venture for her. She is actually involved in what goes into a lot of her products. While she may not be an esthetician or dermatologist, she’s had many of her own experiences with ingredients and different products in the past on her skincare journey. Don’t get me wrong, I love your critiques but I wanted to let you know that this brand was not made flippantly by Miranda. She’s worked authentically and diligently for it. 💜
@25Jovi254 жыл бұрын
Agree with you. I I would never Comprare Miranda's KORA to other celebrity skin brands. It's 100% self funded and she really cares about each and every product that comes out. I have been following her also before she even launched her brand and she was launching everything very slowly, like only few products a year, so it's not about this "just put a name on products" marketing in this case. I have almost all products and they are great.
@timanahaf4 жыл бұрын
Lol Miranda's pr team is quite busy here I see. If she's so authentic why the heck is she using a blur filter in her video? And if she's so involved in her product how does she not really even know how pH works? If u want facts & results when it come to skincare, listen to Cassandra, read up and learn. If u want bs marketing, listen to Miranda (or whatever other celebrity hawking "their" products).
@melinda60864 жыл бұрын
Lanette Cordragoran Typical to assume that if someone likes and respects her product, they must work for her. 🙄 And who cares if she uses a blur filter? I agree, it’s not the truth but everybody else does it. It’d be best for celebs not to due to its unrealistic standard, however it’s a minuscule issue at best. Her products are still good. And if she’s wrong about a statement she made, that’s fine. Is she supposed to be perfect? She’s pretty knowledgeable otherwise, and if you’d looked further into the brand beyond this video you’d be made aware of that. As I said, she’s def not an esthetician nor dermatologist by any means. But I don’t think it’s fair to make assumptions about someone’s brand, especially when sufficient research on the history of the brand unfortunately didn’t seem to happen. Also, I’m subscribed to Cassandra and respect her opinions greatly, so please don’t attempt to inform me where I should go for facts. Your tone is absolutely unnecessary. Take a moment and maybe consider the notion that you’re most likely making assumptions without knowing the 11 year history of the brand and simply dismissing it.
