Very informative, thank you. So, here's my question: I have a pension and a job; my taxes are withheld from both by the payers. My wife has an LLC and will have to pay quarterly. Do our quarterly payments cover just her LLC's expected earnings? I ask this since I am already pre-paying my taxes on a weekly/monthly basis, and it seems like we would be paying double taxes on my taxable income. Thank you.

Can you help me in my situation? I don't get very much taxes withheld from my check so I owe a couple of years of back taxes at a total of 12K. I'm on an installment plan I've been thinking maybe I should start sending in a little less and put that towards the more current year estimated tax so I don't keep bleeding out the other end so to speak. For quite a few years I've been on the installment plan and I can only get one years back taxes paid every year, so once that gets paid off then suddenly the current year is now due too, so it seems like I'm just on this hamster wheel of going round and round and can never get it all paid off. Any suggestions will sure be appreciated, thank you
