so knowledgeable! I tried to manual estimate the bdft/sqm as per drawing. (vertical stiff.) 0.4 m converted to 1.312 ft and is 8 pcs. : [8(2"x2"x1.312')] / 12 = 3.52 bdft (hori. stiff) 0.298 m converted to 0.98 ft and is 16 pcs : [16(2"x2"x1.312')] / 12 = 5.23 bdft 5.23+3.52 = 8.78 bdft perimeter area of plywood per column : 0.56 sqm 8.78 bdft / 0.56 sqm = 15.68 bdft/sqm total bdft: 15.68 bdft/sqm x 2.24 sqm = 35.12 bdft total pcs= (35.12 bdft x 12" ) / 2"x2"x14' = 7.52 pcs or 8 pcs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so near. where to get 12.71 bdft? and why divide by 2 ang horizontal sa scaffoldings? thanks

@@RGbyMariyaEleng Umm for conversion po ata yun kasi inches yung 2x3 tapos yung 14 naka feet. By definition, a board foot po is one square foot, one inch thick. So yung isang naka inches dun kinonvert po into ft. BF=(LxWxD)/12 in²•ft BF=(LxWxD)/144 in³

ung 12.71 multiplier ata nya para makuha yung bf kung m2 lang given, yung 4.67 is (2x2x14/12) so bale eto yung bf per piece

Sa ibang source, 29.67 ang multiplier ng 2" x 2" na rough lumber. Ano ba ang talagang tama?

2" X 2" X 14' how does 14' is divided by 12 we get in inches

board foot = volume of wood in inches x feet x feet measurements. 2 inches x 2 inches x 14 feet - one of them is in inches which is why we divide by 12 to convert one of the inches to feet.

Di naman po siguro nakapatong yung SOG sa Grade beam no. I mean naka flushed lang siya sa top ng GB.
