well, im an estonian, if anyone doesnt know, why it really happened, then... finnish businessmen buys mushrooms for about 3 to 4 euros a liter from estonia and sells these about 25 euros a liter in finland (that means they take about 11 to 12 euros profit from a liter). this guy here went to helsinki and wanted to sell the mushrooms to finnish people by himself for 7 euros a "crate". the other mushroom sellers didnt like this at all because that was bad for their business and called a police.

His price wasn't the issue. He would have needed to buy a permit to sell in the market, but he didn't buy it. Even the police tried to talk him into buying the permit, so there wouldn't be any more problems.

In many other countries the police would have just told him to pack his stuff NOW & git or ELSE. Or worse still, not even given him that chance but arrest him right away, impound his vehicle, confiscate his goods & charge him, no questions asked & no discussion.

@TheBlessedLady Based on what are you saying that he was talking to his lawyer? If this were true, he wouldn't have asked for one afterwards. What's going on here is that the local bureaucrats are pretty much fucking his brains, not allowing him to sell mushrooms after a long wait for the licence. So the guy starts screaming, and the police "retaliate" with spraying frikken pepper gas in his eyes, and it turns into a brawl after he throws mushrooms at them (oh my, mushrooms). Peaceful my ass

Estonian reporting in. I think that when people have a problem with you, have the fucking brains to solve things peacefully.
