Spearfishing is allowed in certain estuaries in NSW where it is not banned; see this resource: www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0018/602118/Recreational-Spearfishing-Guide-January-2024.pdf You can confirm this with the Fisheries officers in the regional offices if you aren’t sure about a certain location!

Enclosed water? According to NSW Government regulations all enclosed waterways are illegal
