Well done sis, a great job you've 👍 done sis. I'll advice that beginners should learn the conventional way of drafting the basic bodice so as to get it well. To me , this method is actually an upgraded version. For anyone watching this, I can heartly tell you this is something you should try, following it step by step will help a lot.its nothing hard at all. Also ma, we appreciate if u can upload 'how u take your measurements ' cos this will also help understand this pattern well. Love u sis . It's amazing how well you took your time to upload this. I hope to also be able to share my knowledge with others too soonest.

Nice job Dear. A lot of people will not tell you that front shoulder slant is normally deeper than the back. Almost everyone on KZbin use 1inch for both front and back.

What about Zip allowance n the back tightin
@estybelladesigns2 жыл бұрын
You don't add zip allowance on pattern, you will add it when you transfer to fabric

In my case...the dart allowance for the back extends out of the back block
@estybelladesigns Жыл бұрын
In that case, when next you are creating your block add more to your box so it can accommodate it Do you understand?

I have a question ma, why is the back half length shorter than the front?

Wow Tanks so much ma'am,dis my first time of watching dis basic bodies ND I must confess u re really good ma,hmm pls I want to ask a question,wen u re drawing d patterns there is nothing like zip allowance,ND also d nipple to nipple u didnt add allowance also Pls why ma? To God I really love ur teaching
@ollashukurat58422 жыл бұрын
@@ayobamireoluwaseundavid5415 since you're drafting on paper no need for allowance, while transferring to fabrics, you add all necessary allowance.

Going through the video again I observed that when drawing out the arnhole, you used diff measurements. For front you went up by 2.5 from the chest line, while for the back you found the mid point on the line. Why not the mid point for both front and back.
@estybelladesigns2 жыл бұрын
The front armhole is deeper than the back and It gives more balance on the body when you do it this way.
