Glad it helped! The extension is really useful but ... it might also be worth adding a dab of hot glue to the socket on the board as it flexes up really easily.

I don't understand why they couldn't have used something like a 2032 that you could get anywhere instead of oddball that has to be ordered.

With you on that one. Space on the board perhaps? Possibly because the battery holder is a few pence cheaper? Pennies on a large scale add up and all manufacturers will squeeze what margin they can. It isn't that big a problem though and it isn't as if you have to change it that often. Thanks for commenting.

Where did you get the battery extension?

I can't honestly remember but my best guess would be Banggood. I have bought lots of gear (including the Tx) from them and the very few times I have had a problem it has been very quickly resolved. Use the search term "lipo battery extension". You need a three wire 2s male to female. You can also find them on AliExpress. See the caveat below though! I advise using a single use payment method, or a loadable card for AliExpress purchases as I have had my card scammed once. I was lucky and the credit card company caught it, but please be careful! I'm sure 99.9% of sellers are honest, but it only takes 1!
