Like a distorted and ragged beta version of The World Is Yours

this is very close to Dungeon Synth and dark ambient

Yeah, was searching for some DS and this came out on the recommendations. It's valid. Even the artwork.

@@darladoon Not 1990 but emerged in early 90s, its roots dating even in the late 80s so your statement is empty.
@eternallygone19 күн бұрын
@@darladoon in fact i said its close to those two genres, you dont need a doctorate to understand i didn't say it was dungeon synth
@metalheadgamer809 күн бұрын
@@darladoon Dungeon Synth did in fact emerge around the early 90s. Some of the earliest releases are from 1991-93 and they’re from Jim Kirkwood, Necrophorus, Mortiis, etc. Though I’m not sure if I’d call this DS (maybe proto-DS).

@@2heshd No problem. I downloaded the song a few years ago and recognized it. And also, I'm pretty sure this song is norwegian, not german

I'm confused. Is this a new level of dungeon synth? Just trying to keep my sub-genres straight
@advancedvoid5459Ай бұрын
The title suggests this track is from 1990, so it can’t be new lol
@gregkerna741011 күн бұрын
I think this is just 90s new wave electronic music, might have influenced dungeon synth. Dungeon synth is an offspring of black metal.

it's so deceptively 70s looking even

Sounds like some kind of dungeon synth. But in a good way, unlike much of the "neoclassical" stuff.
