There's a lot of pain and misery, but there's a lot of good and wonderful things out there to be felt and experienced. Not sure what the backing is, but the main instrument sounds like a harmonica or accordion (as suggested by another commenter) that has been pitched down a whole lot. Chances are they found a tune that sounded good while fiddling about and recorded a long improvisation based on it. If I'm correct I am inspired by the simplicity

I want to walk along a creaky old boardwalk as the sun sets in the rain. I want to wear a bright yellow parka and hat as I go. Each step watching the bolts along the walk pop out occasionally to greet me but not all the way, just peeking out of the boards as they groan. The art is part of the flyer that came with the cassette tape. Which is actually a cropped version of the poster for the 1979 West German film "Die Dritte Generation" directed by R.W Fassbinder. I own a framed original A1 of this poster from 1980, which is why this caught my attention.
