Did you put them to avoid lateral displacements of the structure? Would it work the same if you don't place them? Its just a question I had.

when you are applying the soil pressure all local 3 axis is not in outward projection. so i think you need to do the correction.

Yes, you can . You should determine the internal forces of walls and foundations then design based on your local design code.

How to calculate overturning moment from this load that we applied? Do we need to multiply the load by H/3 for soil pressure cause soil pressure distribution is in triangular shape? Or the etabs assign non uniform load differently so how to find moment for that manually instead of etabs moment that we got after analysis.

In that case you don’t need to add springs , because there’s no soil.

Dear, spring element was used in the tutorial because this pool is located at the ground level, and the pool walls and slab have contact with the soil; therefore, the soil bearing was modeled with springs. In your case, no soil is on the top of the building. You consider the floor slab and wall with a rigid boundary condition.
