சென்ற வருடம் நானும் என் கணவரும் தனுஷ்கோடியில் கடலில் தவறுதலாக உள்ளே சென்றுவிட்டோம். அவருக்கு ஒரளவிற்கு நீச்சல் தெரியும் எனக்கு அதுவும் தெரியாது. கரையில் எங்கள் குழந்தைகளின் தலைகளோ சிறிய பந்துகள போல தெரிகிறது. என் கணவரோ அலருகிறார். யாருடைய கவனமும் எங்கள் மீது இல்லை. ஆனால் நான் தெளிவாக முடிவு செய்தேன். பதட்டமின்மை உடலை இலகுவாக்கும் தப்பிக்க வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என. இறுதியில் கடலே எங்களை கரைக்கு அனுப்பியது. ஆக வெற்று பதட்டமோ, கவலையோ வேலைக்கு ஆகாது.
