Never had a smart watch have a magnemeter before. It's actually useful in my job since some screw are aluminum and some are not. Nice to know if I drop it, if I can get a magnet or I have to use mechanical fingers. Also, yes I have tested it with aluminum and a magnet and it does indeed work.

I personally wouldn't spend that much as someone who already has a Galaxy Watch, but it's still one of the coolest collector's items I've seen. Practical, usable Collector's Edition items need to become more of a thing. Figures are cool until you have way too many of them.

I would add... the premium version of the game is $99. The case it comes in is really nice.. lets arbitrarily say that's worth $50. Plus the really cool credit stick? its essentially a $120-150 watch. Really not bad if you consider that. It last for days and with most watches the functionality wears on me. All I care about is time, date, and notifications. it does all of that on a solid 5+ day charge. after years of use? maybe a day or two? still great. For all of the game exclusives i normally get. This one will get the most use by far.

Not to mention the credit stick has the digital download code which is very rare to have a backup or potentially a giftable/sellable code to make someone's day or make some of the money back.

@@jakubsolarski2594 yeah, they had an app anybody could download and it would show in game data. It would also interact with the game so you could change the radio station, weapons, use stims, etc. The pip boy itself was just there to house your phone for some more immersion.

It’s great. Not really a watch guy but I love collectors items. The case alone is easily worth it for me. Already made a stand for it to display it at a slight angle and put it somewhere in my setup. Also have the fallout 4 pip boy edition right besides it, picked that one up used a while back.

@@sijedevos2376 Dude! That's exactly how I have mine setup on my shelf. Got my Fallout 4 Collector's Edition next to the Starfield CE. The Pip-Boy isn't out because I stored it in the case to make room for the Chronomark case, but I now have my two favorite collector's editions displayed together. Such a sick watch even if it doesn't have all the fancy pantsy functions like other smart watches do. In my opinion, it doesn't need to. Just having a replica of the watch your character wears and that uses the same UI as in-game is major nerd-out factor for me. Lol Not to mention, the watch itself looks great. It doesn't look like a cheesy kid's watch or toy. The Chronomark is actually something an adult can wear that looks good. I like both the FO4 collector's edition and the Starfield CE, but I have to admit that this Chronomark is edging it out a bit on the cool factor. Now I'm just waiting for the app to be updated to add weather functionality and to fix the moon phase screen because sunset/sunrise is missing.

I have many/most of the Halo stuff, and some other games as well... but the past few years it's become almost impossible for mere mortals to get any of these things... The credit has the game code on it. While it's no disc, it's actually pretty cool how they incorporated the code on the credit. Also has the serial number and says " G-bitnotorized by galbank" "non-volatile graphite currency"

Just got mine in the other day. I honestly love it. Sure the smart watch doesnt have everything an apple watch or samsung watch has, but i personally enjoy the simplicity of it. I dont need a watch that has a ton of features, and with it being a collectors edition, I personally didnt mind the price at all. Its better than sone other collector's editions out there. Edit: for everybody as well complaining about the collectors edition of starfield, you don't have to buy it if you don't like it. It's not for everybody. It's for big fans of the game who just want some starfield gear to put up in their gaming setup.

I wouldn't have bought the collectors edition if I didn't truly believe starfield was gonna be great. It's one of the very few games I have ever bought any sort of collectors edition for. Glad the game came through. I'm also a huge sucker for any sort of space RPG, so that doesn't help my case any lol

Obviously the only way this set is truly worth it to the buyer is how well do you like the game and are you a watch person. That’s a yes for me. Having a ton of fun in the game and the watch is really cool. Is it the quality of other top smartwatches on the market? No but you are going for the theme and style of the watch to be able to own a physical piece that is within the game is cool. I also thought the Credstick idea was awesome. I was wondering what the heck the Steel case for the game was gonna be all about because I honestly thought the code was gonna be on a piece of cardboard that looked like a credstick. The case for the watch and patch surprised me as well for there is a lot of weight to it and it’s definitely not really cheaply made. Overall it is worth it for me but you wouldn’t be a casual Starfield player and get this. You are gonna be someone who is thoroughly enjoying every aspect of the game.

As a watch user, how do you find this one? Is it something that can be worn every day or regularly? would it look good with anything? I haven't worn a watch in almost two decades (it was a blue baby-G), they're not really my thing. But this one looks amazing, to me it has a retro classy character mixed with modern shapes, if that makes any sense. I know it's a replica from the game, but looking at it, it actually looks like something an astronaut would wear.

The watch isn't as bad as this guy makes it out to be. While it's no $300 watch, it's also not a piece of plastic. It's build quality is actually pretty good. All a collectors edition is, is a bunch of useless tat. It's meant for collectors and big fans, not for the average player. I personally love mine and would buy it again.

Base game is 70 and the Constellation Ed is 300. All the extra stuff is maybe 30 extra bucks. Watch+case is $200. You can get a 2nd gen apple watch for 300. You can get a brand new current gen apple watch for 800. A decent non-smart watch with some prestige is around 200-700. Games that have these limited editions are usually always priced at $300. If you're a starfield fan this isn't a bad buy. For those who think it's "too expensive" you obviously do not know anything about the market or the pricing of anything.

You could've purchased this edition and then sold everything BUT the watch online to recoup money. The Steelbook case alone you can sell for at least $25. The digital game code you can sell for $50+.

When it comes to Bethesda Collector's Editions, you have to jump on it or else be prepared to see them show up on ebay at exorbitant prices. If you thought the Constellation Edition was expensive at $299, then don't look at the prices now. Some sellers are asking $300 USD for just the watch! At least at MSRP you get the case, Chronomark, replica credstik, Constellation patch, early access to the game, the game itself, and the story addon. Remember that $69 out of the $300 is for the game itself. In my opinion, it was more than worth it. I'm glad I got lucky because the entire package is going for up to $500! It's definitely not worth it at that price, but someone from somewhere will pay it. That's why scalpers do it.

But is it worth $300? You don't say if it is or if it isn't. It's not. You get cosplay props, the game and a chance to get the dlc for free. It's not worth it. The watch is worth 40 but is round cause most cheap smart watches are square yet have heartbeat sensors while this does not, just a pedomiter and moon phase based on calender. It's a cosplay prop without reaching for your phone but wriggling your wrist a good three times before the display shows. DOESN'T link to the game in any way.

I haven’t heard of anyone who has gotten the Weather feature to work yet. On my watch if I select the weather feature it tells me: “No weather data. Enable weather in mobile app.” But the app doesn’t have any sort of settings for the weather. I’ve also checked my iPhone settings for the app itself and there isn’t an option to allow weather.

When I got my watch it worked perfectly fine out the box but then It wanted a fireware pdate and after doing that It no longer has bluetooth as a setting in the watch and it no longer pair to my phone. contacted bethesda Support but got the generic response of have you charged it fully, have you try soft and hard resetting which nothing has worked. Hoping someone knows a fix but any insight would be lovely. Its a real shame that its nolonger wanting to pair and that certain settings like bluetooth that was on the watch are no longer there.

This is probably the most tech and metal content, so it might be the most value I've seen for a collector's edition so far. Still, this collector's edition stuff will generally just end up in a landfill. Hard for me to criticize tho. Normally I steer clear of collector's editions, but I did break my rule to get the collectors editions for the Horizon series....so it's all subjective. I just never delude myself into thinking it's a value though. It's all just swag. Just a question of can you afford it and do you really like the game THAT much. As much as I'm eager to play Starfield....the answer to that is no.

The $299 price tag is way too high, the problem with this thing is the fact that the collector edition comes with that nice box, the steelcase with the key with the game code, the watch and all that add up in the price. They are trying to cut spends giving the game on a digital format. Technically they're giving you a the rights to use the game and $300 dollars toy. I have the game in gamepass and the premium upgrade that's all I need, my constellation edition will be for sale soon or I'll keep it sealed for a couple years till gains value, the only problem with that is the watch battery won't last forever and the digital code of the game may expire. In the worst scenario I'll probably return it. The premium upgrade is great because you have the first DLC, digital add ons, the steelcase and the constellation patch, not bad for less than $40. Also that "smartwatch" isn't smart at all, you can't download apps or customize the watch, the software looks old and outdated. This is the kind of item that has more collector value than functionality value. So definitely to keep for selling it in the future.

You don't buy it cause the watch is super functional like an apple watch, you buy it cause it's a cool piece to have in your collection. The base game is $60, with this you also get premium edition - 2-3 meh skins and access to an upcoming expansion for $40 (wtf?!) So you are paying $200 for some metal/plasticky box with a metal lump inside and a kid's electronic watch that comes in an oversized metal/plasticky box! No artbooks, maps, stickers, discs, nothing... CP2077 base PC version came with a box of 2 discs with soundtracks, a map of the world, 5 stickers and 4 postcards and a special card with the key - I'm talking basic game, not collectors edition...

I paid $399 in Canada. Now keep in mind the steel book would have been $129 separately so I basically paid $270 for the watch and case. I personally love the watch but it has 2 major issues. 1. Not waterproof. Come'on... 2. Horrible battery life. Charged to 100% and not even 24 hours later it's at 50%. I have my screen timer at 30 seconds.

I actually like that its not touchscreen, sort of a futuristic Casio. And hey, my Apple watch ultra doesnt have a built in baromter or even thermometer
